Monteroca, my Dearest Impostor

Rate this book
MONTEROCA, MY DEAREST IMPOSTOR, is a novel based on true stories.
This colorful man, genius, human, sees his life, rolling out in front of his own eyes, with success and normalcy ; up to the day Hitler invades Checoslovaquia.
He decides to steal a military plane and escape to England to fight and help liberate his beloved country from the inhuman tyranny and oppression.
Of course, life is not the Garden of Eden, and he realizes that his future is insecure, and tries to change his destiny.
He did it through illegal means and great dangers.
He leaves England to Peru, and from there escapes in the middle of the night to Argentina.
He changes his names, titles, clothes and professions.
He becomes a millionaire three times and loses everything twice.
He looks for love and happiness and marries five times, changes the country again and goes to the Canary Islands.
The reader will find this particular person amusing. He fascinated the author for the last 43 years of his life. The author became his stepson.
You will read this story, feeling like you are in a Russian Mountain at an amusement park.
I am able to bring this brilliant story of intrigues, divorces, frauds and adventures to you, my dear reader, as it really was.
Just as Mr. Josef Steinberger, (Pepo), Jose Count of Monteroca, Don José Monteroca, and as I called him , Monti, told it to me.
