What’s worse than driving a phallic-shaped RV across the country with a coworker you hate? Falling in love with them.

Copywriter Callie Murphy has a bad attitude, a vicious tongue, and a serious aversion to Shimura Advertising’s resident manwhore, Walker Rhodes. Know where he can stick his good looks and Southern charm? She can think of a few creative places. Avoiding him

It's better than winning the lottery, while celebrating Christmas Day in the Caribbean, with Channing Tatum, who's dancing naked and bringing you grilled cheese and pina coladas. Well, maybe not better than the grilled cheese, but pretty damn close.

I don't even know how to review this book but if I had to describe it in one word, that word would be: PERFECTION! Because PERFECT is what this book is, from stat to finish. From the way it's written, to it's fresh and original content, the way the author blends funny with emotional parts that are bound to make you tear up, from picturesque setting to an absolutely HYSTERICAL dialogue/banter between a cast so colorful that I actually squealed with delight when I found out author's plans for many

A road trip to happiness…with a few bumps.

Interruptions to my reading are the bane of my existence. I hate having to stop reading my book at the 90% mark because real life is calling. I get up at 6:30 on the mornings I work. If I leave it even 5 minutes later I’m scrambling to get everything done. Sometimes, I try to stretch it out to 6:35 or 6:40, but I always regret it and walk out the door with something missing (one earring) or not done (teeth brushing....I know gross). This morning I decide

Five stars of complete AWESOME.

Super fun, and full of surprises. The characters were complex, relatable, and completely lovable. This is the kind of book that makes a perfect gift, because anybody who reads it is guaranteed a good time.

Not only did I love the plot and the characters, but the writing style was perfection. I love this author's voice; strong, smart and so funny.

Callie and Walker were the perfect couple. They loved torturing each other inside of their RV. Their ad

Ahhhh! It's quite possible that Nicole Archer and I were separated at birth. Because we are so obviously twins! It's like she wrote this book just for me: I LOVED the sarcasm, I LOVED the off-color humor, and I LOVED the angst. Douse all that in romance and then wrap it up with a cleverly written bow, and we have MAGIC!

The plot: Callie is not at a good place in her life; she's possibly even at her lowest, and that's saying something. Her old friend,

What a riot!! I don’t often love romantic comedies because they’re usually, well, not so funny but ‘Road-Tripped’ is a welcome surprise! Do NOT read this if you are easily offended by dirty language but DO read this if you’re in the mood for a modern, sexy, hilarious story. Nicole Archer has a very fresh voice and I look forward to big things from her! And I LOVE t

When I first read the blurb for this book I thought I would like it, enemies to lovers with a road trip thrown in sounded like a lot of shits and giggles. I had been reading a few highly emotional books and I figured this would be a nice change of pace.

So I dove in and then I had to stop and check the blurb again. I seemed to be reading the wrong book and I thought my goldfish memory had struck and I had mixed up books. I mean sure there was some humour and I loved the stoner boss and his team

Get ready for the ultimate road trip in the fanciest camper. A camper that looks like a silver dildo.

Callie Murphy gets assigned to travel across America for her job. But there's a catch. It has to be with the sexy art director. And they also have to act like a couple blogging about their experience.

Any hotblooded woman would be excited about being stuck with a handsome guy, but Callie isn't happy at all. She sees Walker as a big womanizer and playboy. She'd rather just sit

This was a lot of fun to read and although it is a romantic comedy it went deeper than that with real heartfelt emotion.

From enemies to friends, friends to lovers back to enemies, trying to be friends and eventually being lovers again. To not believing in a HEA. Heroine was too much IMO that said the Hero made up for it in all the ways that count.

This is a crazy read and bloody hilarious. From the asylum, to the outdated amusement park. The gator situation to the Hurric

This is my first time reading anything by Nicole Archer, and shoo… let me tell you, people, I was truly impressed with this author and this book. Immediately upon finishing, I sent an IM to my blogger bosses, Amie and Miranda, to tell them that they needed to read this book—not sure they believed me, so I’m hoping that this review will convince them that I’m not fooling around here. I’m going to start this review out a bold statement, perhaps the boldest statement that I’ve ever made in a review ...more

Well, I had some laugh out loud times, some wtf times and some times I was questioning what the hell was going on with this read.

One, I just can't when writers do the "aww shucks" and use phrases that convey all southerners as people who speak in nonstop colloquialisms. It got SOOOOOOO old and hard for me to read. But yet, I guess it's just another one of my problems, one of many I'm afraid.
And some phrases were just, well, yuck. For example, "You’re nuttier than a port-a-potty at a peanut fest

Well well well. Started this book a week ago. Could not get past the first chapter without zoning out. But then something peculiar happened. I read a glowing review of another reader whose opinion I respect and gave it another go. And thank the man upstairs I did cuz this is going on my favorites shelf. It has some issues, that must be said. But- and it's a big but– so rich with funny dialogue and characters you root and swoon for that it makes you blind to them. You know how sometimes in life you're completely unsure about a story, whether you want to invest the time or your energy in something that might completely screw you in the end?

Calliope Rhodes knew from the first Freudian-slip that linked her in unintentional faux matrimony with co-worker/southern punner/road trip partner, Walker Rhodes. She just didn't KNOW she knew. Until she'd fallen in forskelt with him and neglected to realize it until it nearly slid through her fingers like a slippery gr
I didn't realise until the end, but it turned out, i really loved this book.

It's not without it's moments, but it was one hell of an entertaining read, plenty of goings on, enough drama to keep it interesting and lots of lovely and witty moments.

The humor in this book was right up my alley, those who know me best have said it's a good thing I have all boys, because I'm have a dirty and warped mind like a teenage boy! I think my favorite aspects of this book were how much fun this couple could have together, the silly joking and kidding...that is the way I spend my favorite times with my own husband. The road trip across the country with no exact plan is my worst nightmare and biggest dream all rolled into one, so I thoroughly e

This was a fantastic debut novel by Nicole Archer. I saw this advertised on Penny Reid’s page (I’m a big fan) and I love a unique book cover so I was pretty excited to dive in. If you love Rom-Coms with a fun and creative storyline you will love Road-Tripped.

One of the perks of reading a lot is that you always come across new authors. Nicole Archer is new to me and offered a great start to the new year.

It was a lot about self-discovery, overcoming doubts and previous drama. Having a brand new start. So again it was perfect to bring in the new year with. Callie has dealt with verbal abuse for years. Having to hear how she wasn’t good enough, listening to how so many things were wrong about her. No matter how strong she was or how happy, those things

Road-Tripped by Nicole Archer is a laugh out loud spicy rom/com filled with emotion. Picture this: two co-workers who dislike each other stuck in a RV for weeks traveling across the United States all for the sake of saving their boss's company. Callie Murphy can't stand Walker Rhodes, ending up on a forced road trip with Walker is about as much fun for her as getting a bikini wax over and over. It's rare to find a romantic comedy that's actually funny. And this one had me cracking up non-stop. Also, the steam, i.e. sex was hot and didn't take over the story like some of the more erotic romantic comedies. In other words, it was similar to real life sex. Not my sex life, but you know, dirty words happen during sex.

The main character Callie's filthy language, is hysterical, and sounds a lot like the women I know in person. The dialogue was spectacular, I actually felt like I was in a Road

A MUST READ! The characters are amazing. The story is fresh. The writing is superb. This book is totally on my list as a forever favorite.

Callie has been dealt a bad hand and as a result has a negative attitude. She is currently working at her stoner best friends ad agency and is up to her eyeballs with his management skills and there isn't a co-worker she likes. Because she has no other choice and feels she owes it to her best friend, she agrees to help bail him out of the potential demise of h

A good romantic comedy read is always good for the soul and Nicole Archer's take on the genre what just what I was craving. Her third person, witty, and intelligent writing style checked off all kinds of good boxes for me and my tastes. Reading through this book was a delight. When an author busts out my favorite quote in life, they've officially gained a new squealing fangirl.

Callie Murphy can't believe the ad agency she works for. There's a slide, for god's sake! Now she's been ordered to hop on a RoadStream RV, aka the Silver Dildo, with Walker Rhodes, the office manwhore and all around annoyingly sexy man. The beginning of the trip starts out rough – the two have less than nothing in common. But so

I loved Road-Tripped. It was one of those books that I didn't want to put down. I stayed up late reading it and was cranky because of the lack of sleep in the morning but it was so worth it.

Callie and Walker work together at an Ad agency. For the agency's new RV client they are teamed up on a cross-country tour in a RV. The story is told in both Callie and Walker's POVs. I loved the dual POVs. Callie doesn't like Walker. To her he is the office man whore. Callie is a little spit fire and tell yo

I am so grateful to this author for sending me a copy of her book to read. When I picked this one to start reading I had no idea just how funny it was going to be. The humor in it reminds me a lot of the books in the Hudson Valley series by Alice Clayton. Both books have things that happen that are just so realistic! Things that are real and very embarrassing. However, Road-Tripped takes the embarrassing moments and pushes them one step further, not in an unrealistic way, but in a way that you k ...more
