Alien Fighter's Baby

Rate this book
Demanding and powerful Alpha Force trooper Lt. Bran Hayes and Starling, a young civilian woman, are captured...

Captured Lt. Bran Hayes and Starling are forced together, while seven-foot enemy aliens demanded they mate. When Bran’s team busts in to rescue him, he hasn’t forgotten the woman with the deep green eyes and he fights through enemy aliens to find her. But once on his ship, he is informed Starling is pregnant. He is stunned, but her pregnancy cannot withstand his ships velocity. He has to make a split second decision.

They flee enemy aliens, trying to survive on a hostile planet.
He thinks she’s hot, but she wants nothing to do with him.
She’s nothing but trouble with absolutely no military training.
And she’s pregnant with his baby.
No way...
Yeah, way. It’s real, dad.

As unprepared as Starling is to survive on a hostile enemy planet, that’s how unprepared Bran is for the fact she’s pregnant with his baby. But they will have to survive together, even as she becomes more beautiful the rounder she gets with his child. If only she didn’t think he was a bully.

If only the lieutenant didn’t want more than kisses. Because she could kiss him ... if it stopped there ... maybe. If he’d put his damn shirt back on and hide his amazing ripped abs. Then, her mind wouldn’t wander from his bossy orders to the shape of his mouth or how good he looks out of his pants.
Did she say that out loud? No way can she ever let him find out she thinks he’s hot.

I liked it! There were plot holes and continuity errors.... yeah a lot of those. But I liked the hero! The heroine was irritating to me. As well as unevenly characterized (in my opinion). But I seriously liked the hero!!! He was funny! If more of these books come out I'm definitely going to read them.

I am so confused . . . The author skipped over the first, most significant sex scene where the Grubs forced the H/h to mate??? THE inciting incident scene of how the H & h met and the h got pregnant. . .

That makes NO sense.

I DNFed.

I loved it but not as the first one. I'm sorry to know that this writer has only these two books because I want to read Cobalt's story.
I thought there is more books but more than 1 year had passed.

I was pleasantly surprised with this book. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but thought I'd try it anyway since it was a Kindle Unlimited book. So glad I gave it a shot!

There is action, suspense, danger and romance. I liked both the H, Bran, and the h, Starling. The H was a high ranking Alpha-Force trooper. Those troopers were not allowed to date, have relationships and could never marry. The only way out was death. Even then, their bodies would be retrieved so no other alien group could get their hands on the super soldiers. I enjoyed watching the H's personal growth - from having complete Alpha-Force soldier mentality to leaning to communicate (not just order others around) and falling in love.

The biggest complaint I had was the way the dialogues were written for the majority of the book. One paragraph could include dialogue going back and forth between characters. At times, that was very confusing and I had to re-read those sections trying to figure out who was saying what.

WHAT AN ADVENTURE!

WOW! This was such an intense novel. The action, suspense, and the plot were quite the treat. This is a delightful science fiction story. The romance is so very interesting between Bran and Starling. The descriptions of the aliens, the different equipment, and the alien planet were amazing. A very good read.

JJH Not bad

This was good book needs more world building but I'm sure it's going to be a series so the next book will explain more about the super soldiers & their enemy. A few typos & the the sex scenes were good just enough erotica. H/ H were good together& I love stories w babies

DNF about half way.
I just found i was reading other books rather than continuing this one. Like it was a chore.
The idiocy abounded for both MCs, until I just didn't care what happened to them.

Starling was kidnapped from her patriarchal world where she was sheltered to the extreme and she is a completely silly mary-sue. Bran, who was also kidnapped, is an elite lab altered career soldier who has never had sex with a real woman.

The evil aliens force Bran and Starling to copulate because they want her to get pregnant... and she does get pregnant. Then when Bran is rescued by his fellow soldiers, he must stay behind because something about the ship's takeoff would be detrimental to her/their baby. The story was full of contrived/obvious plot devices.

That all sounded good, but just didn't pan out. The world they are stuck on is super inhospitable in the extreme and the evil aliens are determined to find them.
I don't know. I just didn't care after a while.
