Clay Tory and his best friend jack own a ranch out in California they are going through a major drought and there cows are practically dying of thirst. Now Clay is a professional bull and bronc rider and he is on the top of his game in the National Rodeo Finals.At the last minute while clay is at a rodeo competing he gets a call and finds out that jack has gotten in a bad car accident and is in the hospital.So now it’s up to Clay to choose whether he wants to save the ranch or pursue his rodeo career and win big. I recommend this book to people that like to have a adventure and are willing to risk it all for what they think is right.

In the series the final ride is my favorite book out of all that i have read so far. Clay torrie continues his journey along side his mentor Jack. Clay is hooked on the rodeo trail at the start of summer even though the ranch in texas is in desperate need of all hands on deck, and while he is away jack has some complecations that gives clay the reins to the ranch and hes in charge of keeping the ranch alive as the middle summer hits and the drought make the summer hard.
