Like most elves, Kyla's first year away from home presents certain challenges: meeting new people, finding a suitable field of study, and learning to yo-yo. Unlike most elves, Kyla runs afoul of Erebus, the god of darkness, who plans to bathe the world in eternal night. Kyla must leave her carefree adolescence behind and master her fears if she hopes to save the Earth and ...more

A Rockstar Book!

I adore this book so much!

Adventurous, entertaining and beautifully written!

Kayla, an elf who is going to be away from her family for the first time and leave for college. She's a talkative protagonist and keeps the reader amazed. To survive in this world, she has to overcome her complex fears and confront the unknown.

I would give full marks to this book because even though it was a YA Fantasy, it had its originality with itself. Twists and turns at almost each chapters keeps yo

Fantasy at its peak.

Incredibly fast paced and wonderful creativity.

Adventure and humor, both were blended in their perfect ratios.
Elf Mastery is a delightful formula of episodic amusement. I enjoyed the story to the fullest because the author has intelligently explained what fun the reader is getting into.

A little Elf Kyla has just got admitted in a reputed university to find herself a name and yes, you're right, to save the world. But to achieve that, she has to go through a number of strug

I received a copy of this book to be honestly reviewed.

I really liked this! While a mission with different races of magical beings is nothing new, I always enjoy the new intricacies and relationships among the characters. And talk about development! Kyla isn't your typical heroine. She starts off a bit ditzy and clueless, never having experienced the world at large before. And she seems to be a bit clumsy on top of it. She makes her few friends and frenemies pretty quickly, but keeps to her smal

I was incredibly lucky to beta read this book. From the moment I started reading I was hooked. Bryant has created this wonderfully imaginative world with little treasures hidden without. Throw in a spunky elf, adventure and a subtle sense of humor and you have a recipe for a good read. I can't wait for the next one!

Kudos Bryant!

i won a copy of this book in the good reads giveaway,

i loved this book, it starts with a young elf girl starting university and struggling to work out where she fits in, and as the book goes on she makes friends with various other magical students, who help her with her plan to save the world from eternal darkness,
there are a lot of likable characters, and twists in the story,
i look forward to reading the other books in the series

I received a copy of this book through the Goodreads giveaway - requested an ebook copy instead as that is just how I roll - my preferred way of reading (convenience via Smartphone).

I quite enjoyed this story. The idea of starting the story about an average female elf attending college who was clearly caught in amazement in the world of different creatures that surround her was a nice touch. I kind of related to that in a way (minus the different creatures of course). I grew up in a small count

This book kept my attention from beginning to end. Even the initial interaction of the Goblin Grizzlesnout with the protagonist of the tale, an Elf named Kyla, I was entertained. The story changed views quite fluidly and the writing style of the story itself flowed well. The highly diverse fantasy and mythology references was very fascinating adding a great setting to the tale. I c

I just found out via the Goodreads author tutorial that I am allowed to review my own book! I also recognize this is not a legitimate review, but would like to use the space to give a little background.

'Elf Mastery' was conceived as an idea for a cartoon series. I had a pitch bible, some songs, etc and even got a couple pitches out to animation companies. However, I ran into two struggles. First, I spoke with someone in the industry who told me that even if I sold it, the network/producer who p

I received this as a kindle copy in exchange for an honest review. I read this book while on a ten-hour overnight shift. I actually just got to see the cover for the first time while rating it on Goodreads, it never showed up on my kindle. But that’s beside the point, the cover was so cute! Was nothing how I pictured Kyla but she sure is cute! So I just love the cover. The elf was the best character. So full of life and entertaining the entire time, she actually reminded me of a friend who is th ...more

A teenage elf saves the world from the god of darkness in this light-hearted fantasy adventure.

Kyla, a teenage elf, leaves home for the first time to go to college. She has to do the normal teenage things — make friends, pick a course of study. She’s rather annoying and has a distinct lack of aptitude for most things, but gets by on perkiness. Along the way, she gets entangled in a plot to engulf the world in eternal night.

The setting is modern-day Earth, with elves and other mythical creatures

Got this book from the author
to review.
The story's about Kyra, a elf's first year away from home fighting many challenges coming in the way!
This was a decent but a very average read for me. The concept was not good and was presented in a even wroser manner! The narration and dialouges were not catchy too!
This book is not something that can catch a reader's attention!
It whould have been better!
What I liked was the conversation between Kyla and Grizzlesnout and the supernatural characters!

I thought this book was amazing!!! It was all amazing. I want to be honest though. Very good book. I just wish it had a more adventurous ending. But that is just me. Go ahead and get the book. You could learn a lot from the characters in this book.
