This was a very interesting and intriguing romance box-set to read and I enjoyed reading it. The story covers Melissa trying to discover the truth of her father's death and/or possible murder and why there has been no contact from her mother since she walked out many years ago. Melissa hires a private investigator (Levi) to help discover the truth. What you will find in this story is intrigue, drama, suspense, secrets, a private investigator, trying to contact her mother, mother's refusal to speak to her, getting birth certificates, discovering a name change, going to the lake, skinning dipping, murder of a friend, a memorial service, a warning note/letter, being followed, flying to see her mother, discovering about a accident that happened many years ago, the truth comes out, the mob, shooting/death of the mother, police, covering up by lying, leaving for back home and erotic scenes. The story-line is well thought out and written. The characters are well developed with emotional feelings. I would recommend this box-set

I wasn't too sure at first that I was going to "get into" this book set. We meet Melissa, who's dealing with her father's death and struggling. Then we meet Levi, the private investigator that Melissa has hired to help her dig into her father's past. Melissa also wants to find her mother, she left when Melissa was very young. After talking with the maid Lisa, Melissa is pretty sure that her mother has more information about her father's death. It's spooky even her dad's will says that if he died under abnormal circumstances that she is not to be told how he died. There are secrets all over the place. This book follows Melissa and Levi on this trail. As they investigate, they get closer and closer. The ending is HEA I guess, and it's pretty unconventional how Melissa finally gets closure.

The stories in this box set were good. I would have probably given a four star rating if not for all the mistakes. There were so many run on sentences, some of which didn't make sense. Sometimes multiple tenses were used within the same sentence. Lastly, the word had was way overused. With that said, I liked the mystery, drama, and suspense this box set contained. The plot twists kept it interesting. It was a quick read, especially for a box set. You can get it done in an afternoon.

I've read a few of Alexa Brookes book series i have enjoyed them all, they are easy to read, but with twists i find im hooked until the end, needing to find out what happens. This story had twists all the way to the end.
Melissa's father Robert died but she doesn't know if he was killed. Lisa the maid knows things but will not tell Melissa. Lisa gives Melissa a private eyes number Levi for help. Thats when things start to happen.

Great end of series!
This is the final book in the What She Knew series by Alexa Brooks. She dotted every I and crossed every t with this ending. Melissa was able to find out all of the secrets that her parents had kept hidden from her with the help of Levi. Of course Levi was hot. Of course Melissa was pretty. Of course you may guess the ending but you are going to have to read the books to find out the middle. Lol. Great job again Alexa!

Melissa is trying to find out what caused her father’s death and her mother who she hasn't seen for years won't talk to her either. Levi (a private investigator) is hired to help her and they have an instant attraction. Lots of suspense ,twists, turns and murder
I enjoyed this book at it had enough action that I was pretty much hooked. I just needed to know what the big secrets were.

Alexa Brookes weaves a story of drama, suspense, romance, and love. Well-written, wonderful story-line, with endearing characters you can't help but like. Leaves you wanting more.

Enjoyed it.easy read.read all of it in one go.romance novel with a dash of murder,mysterie,love.Rich woman hires detective to find out about her father's murder and missing mother.Goons chasing,murder,family drama.It has a good ending in finding love.

This is a reasonably good series. The way it is written is a little slow and drags along a bit. The storyline is basically good but needs some pizazz adding to bring it to life more. Could be made more interesting.

Secrets are a killer!! Melissa has gone through some tragedy and wants to find the truth. Enter Levi a private investigator to help connect the dots. Through all of the ups and downs these two find some kind of happiness. I enjoyed their story.

I really enjoyed reading this one. It was suspenseful, mysterious, sexy and hot. It kept my attention and I hated to see it all end. I recommend it. It takes a girl on a journey to find out information and sometimes the road is quite bumpy. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

What She Knew is a entertaining read. The plot is full of mystery and intrigue. The characters were likeable. There were twist I didn't see coming. Go and get this delightful read!
