I read Above The Sky by Jenny Lynne and raved about it to all my GR friends...I was so eager to talk to the author (she reached out to me and offered me a copy of her book for a review) and tell her how much I loved it. I really wanted a sequel to come out, and Lynne surprised me by following up the book with Return To The Sky. (There's even talk of a third book, and I encourage her to write it!) During

After the shocking ending of Book 1, Seven, an eighteen-year-old girl living in a dystopian universe, has to figure out how to navigate her new life while making sure her secrets are safe.

And Jenny Lynne has done it again! This book was amazing, yet again, and I was shocked and engaged at every turn. The plot definitely had its ups and downs, and this time it followed both Seven and Six,

Return to the Skyis the followup toAbove the Skyand IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! I readAbove the Skyin less than 24 hours andReturn to the Skyreceived the same treatment. I once again couldn't put it down and when I unexpectedly had to go on a 4 hour car ride mid-book, I was cursing the fact that there is no audio version yet. I would have purchased it in a heartbeat, because this is a series I am positive I will be re-reading.

This book had twists and turns that I never expected and its hard to talk

Return to the Sky is the sequel for Above the Sky, and I loved both books! This book picks right up where the first book ended, so I definitely recommend reading the first book before this one. *There will be spoilers for the first book in this review*

In the first book, Seven took Six's place as a warrior, so Seven had to leave home and fight to protect her home community and Six stayed at home and was assigned a mate, and since they are twins, they assumed each other's identities without most

Jenny Lynne did a wonderful job picking up where Seven an Ten left off. The turmoil between all of the characters and trying to survive in worlds they are not used to is enchanting. It's really hard to give reviews withou spoilers, so I'm just going to say, get the book. You won't be disappointed and you definitely won't be bored. There is enough action to keep you entertained throughout the entire book. You also get to find out if Seven and Ten get to meet their baby and are able to be ...more

This book is the much anticipated sequel to Above the Sky. I absolutely LOVED this book! It is full of action and suspense and I longed for day Ten and Seven would reunite. I was screaming at the end of book one; I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to continue on this journey with these fantastic characters, so I was so excited to read the sequel. I did not disappoint! I would love to see a book with a couple of the other characters that I fell in love with. This is a must read. One-click this ...more

I absolutely love this book!!! Lynne does an amazing job keeping the same characters with a limited amount of new ones that even then are completely introduced. Through every twist and turn, it is hard not to love Six, Seven and Ten. As each character develops in their own way, the story develops and it's almost impossible to not love each character and identify with each and every one of them. Some inner plots are easily predicted, but the plot twists that accompanies all of them is enough to ...more

I like how this book picks up right where the first book left off. I enjoyed it more than the first book and was very surprised on how Jenny Lynne made it work. I really didn't know how it was going to work out. As usual, the characters are their awesome selves. The book was filled with betrayal, action, and drama worth reading. I was satisfied with the ending of the pretend story told in the hospital room and the actual story. It made me hopeful for a better future to make the sacrifice worth ...more

Oh what can I say?? I looove this story. I don't want to give too much away, but the twists, and turns. The heart strings are pulled in all the right directions. With the way it ends, it is a nice clean ending, but also leaves you wanting more. To see where else the story could take Seven, Ten, Six, Nine...and all of the other characters. I would loooove to see a third installment of "the Sky" series.

I loved this book, If love this series! This may be my book club recommendation. I you love the Hunger Games or the Divergent Series this series is for you. Could not put down, hated for it to end. Young people figuring it all out and taking charge it's just such a great read.

Another 5 star book from JW Lynne! This isn’t your typical dystopian read. This book grabs your interest immediately and keeps you wondering what will happen next. There is a deep romantic love story, but it isn’t the only love aspect we see. There are some nail-biting experiences, sadness, deep emotions, and twists you never would have expected! I cant wait to read the next one!

Loved it!

This is one of the best and most captivating sequels I’ve read.
It’s the perfect pace with all the right twists and action.

After switching places with her sister and becoming a Warrior, Seven has found herself somewhere she never expected to be: back home. Needing to protect her and Ten's unborn child, Seven has returned to the life she was supposed to lead with her mate, Nine. But with no contact with Ten, Six or her friends from above the sky, Seven is finding it hard to readjust back into 'normal' life. Meanwhile, Six finds herself in a similar
AMAZING is such an inadequate description of this series...Take all of the things that make life so exciting and multiply it to the end of the world, then you might understand my love for this series.

Well built characters that readers will care about from start to finish.

I hadn't "killed" a single person during the whole test, but when I saw her like that, something inside me switched, like the turning off of a light. I started shooting to kill. I didn't care what team the other person was on.

This is the second book in a dystopian series.

The second book takes off right away where the first takes off. I won't really give a synopsis as you can easily read one on the main page or in other reviews.

I really enjoyed this novel. It moves quickly, the story line is compelling.

The narrative is still told in the first person, but the perspective changes with each chapter. I'm not a huge fan of the first person perspective because it seems a bit restrictive. This shifting of the narrative

Thank you Jenny Lynne for the opportunity to read your book. I loved the first book, and I have to say that the second book was amazing as well. I loved that I got to get into the minds of not only Seven, but also Ten, and Six. I thought there was a lot of action and that it was fast-paced. The story was interesting and I love that the book picked up right where the last one ends. The characters were amazing as well. I thought

Second installment in a great YA dystopian series. It continued exactly from where the first book left off and definitely didn't disappoint. The author's fast paced style gets you caught up in the action , in the characters' emotions. There is never a dull moment.
The first book was more Seven and Ten's story and their life 'up there'. After Six and Seven swap places back again to protect Seven's pregnancy ,

Binging on this well-written (though at times cheesy book, expectedly so). This second installment to the series introduces viewpoints written from several of the characters and doesn't fall into the second book mediocrity trap that's can be common on YA series novels. Great character development continues as there is less action in this compared to the first book.

I liked getting Six's point of view along with Ten's. I hope that Six eventually remembers her time with Jose and does something to help him and his people. I really hope that Nine gets his happily ever after with thirteen, he deserves it. Nine is so kind and understanding. I wish there were people like him in real life. Ten and Seven's love for one another is beautiful.

This series has had me engrossed from the beginning pages of book one, 'Above the Sky''. The storyline picks up from the end of book one. Full of creativity. I loved the descriptive nature Jenny Lynne brings to her stories. The way this book played out completely blew me away.
