A different type of novel than the RCMP Staff Sgt Alberg and Sgt Edwina Henderson....this one is a romance involving a divorced woman, Michelle and a widowed music professor, Casey Williams.

I enjoyed the story but I found with Wright's later books ....the Edwina Henderson novels and this one....she is writing bedroom scenes in vivid detail which doesn't add anything to the story except extra words.

The plot is unusual in that Casey also had a short affair with Michelle's university daughter, Lizzie which naturally devastates Michelle when he confesses his misdemeanor.

I had this on my shelf and re-read it when I had nothing else available for a few days. A divorced woman meets a widower, and they struggle to determine how much interest they have in each other. The first time around it was more enjoyable.
