Two’s company…

If you asked Mollie whether she struggled as a single mum, she’d have to cover her daughter’s ears before answering. Surrounded by friends, watching Esme grow into the sassiest eleven-year-old in North London, and building her name as TV chef Mollie Makes, Mollie’s never been happier. Well, that’s what she’d tell you. But as her best friends pair off, and Esm

As a child I always wanted to save the best till last -get those vegetables eaten so I could enjoy the roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Now I’m an adult and even though I love my veggies, I still like to leave the best till last and with this series so has Andi Michael! She has saved her most interesting and amiable characters till the final instalment, the gorgeous Mollie and her adorable daughter Esme who are the perfect cherry on the top of the Camden Square trilogy.

Throughout the latter half of 2016, I have been enjoying my visits to The House on Camden Square, the setting of A.L. Michael's trilogy. Having just finished Be My Baby the final of these books, I am gutted that the series is finished, but at the same time incredibly impressed by this last installment, and the way it rounds up the stories.

Be My Baby is definitely readable as a standalone story, however I know my pleasure came from my knowledge of all the characters, having already had the focus

I was actually a little apprehensive to read this as I knew it was the last book in The House on Camden Square series and I really didnt want it to end, I know im going to miss these girls.
In Be My Baby, we follow Mollie’s story, Mollie is the quiet one of the group and single mum to 11 year old Esme. Esme's dad Jamie, up and left when she was pregnant with only a sorry note left behind and nothing else. Mollie has found it hard to move on over the years and rather than dating she has put all h

Be My Baby, The House on Camden Square Book Three,  A. L. Michael

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre:  women’s fiction, Romance

I hadn’t read the first two books, but this is one of those connected but each is a stand alone book, series so I didn’t think that would be an issue. I did find maybe I’d have got some of the more subtle references better and understood the backstory if I had, but there was plenty of explanation given so that I wasn’t lost wondering who, why, what, when.

Be My Baby is the final (sniff!) part of The House on Camden Square trilogy and we wave goodbye to Evie, Mollie, Chelsea and, of course, Ruby.

The girls are back and this book focuses on Mollie. Mollie (and the girls) are still in the Ruby Rooms and she is building up her healthy parent/child cooking business, Mollie Makes…, she is happier than she’s been in years however since all her friends have paired off, she’s beginning to wonder what life would be like with her very own partner. I am both thrilled and heartbroken over being able to read the third book in A. L. Michael's The House on Camden Square series. Thrilled because I absolutely love this series and we've finally gotten to focus on Mollie -- my favorite from the beginning. Heartbroken because this is likely the end of the series. There were three friends to write about -- Evie was featured in Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday, Chelsea in Nice Day For A White Wedding, and now Mollie in Be My Baby. I even debated not accepting a ...more

First of all, let me say how vibrant and striking is the cover of Be My Baby that is one of the reasons I jumped at the chance to review this book and of course the story inside is equally brilliant.
My only regret is that I haven't had the opportunity to read the previous two book in The House on Camden Square! But do despair if you are like me you will still enjoy this instalment, and then you can always grab the first two books to get the full enjoyment out of this series.

First of all, let me just say that this book was gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! Be My Baby by A.L. Michael is actually the first book I've had the pleasure of reading in Michael's The House on Camden Square series, which is pretty bad considering this is the third and final instalment, isn't it? Having said that, I do have Goodbye Ruby Tuesday on my Kindle waiting for me, so I'm sure that as soon as I possibly can, I'll read the first and second books in the ser

YAY! Finaaalllllyyyyy able to review this BEAUTY! It does feel a little bittersweet though. I mean, all three books are fabulous…but…’Be My Baby’ is the third and FINAL book in the House On Camden Square series! I cannot believe we are here already, it feels like yesterday when the series started with ‘Goodbye Ruby Tuesday’. I’ll be very sad to say goodbye to such a wonderful

Be My Baby is the third and final instalment in The House on Camden Square series. I’ve been so thrilled and delighted with this series. I would strongly advise reading all the books in the series in order to fully appreciate the back story of each character and their individual relationship with Ruby.

A.L. Michael’s writing style is so warm and friendly you instantly fall in love with the characters and feel involved with the storyline. Be My Baby is Mollie’s story and once again the author take

I love this series and have read both the previous books so was really looking forward to Mollie's story. You don't have to have read the previous two books but I would definitely recommend it as it helps with the back story when the girls were growing up.

If you haven't read the other books a quick synopsis - the stories are about four friends who grew up together, Ruby, Evie, Chelsea & Mollie, who grew up on a rough estate. They all went on to do different things to escape their quite downt

Be My Baby is the third and final instalment of The House on Camden Square series, and if I'm honest, I'm a little sad to be leaving these wonderful characters. The first books in the series being Goodbye Ruby Tuesday and Nice Day For A White Wedding. Technically this can be read as a stand alone book, there are enough details given so that the reader can understand the character connections etc.

This book focuses on Mollie's story. Mollie is a single mum who has been raising her daughter Esme (a

This is the 3rd and final part of the series, after reading from the beginning I will miss the cosy sometimes crazy relationships between the girls. They are no longer the teenage school kids, Ruby still has an influence but they have all grown into their roles.

Mollie has raised her daughter Esme to the best of her ability as a single mum apart from all the help from her friends. Esme is now 11 going on 30!! In some ways she appears more mature than her mother. But there is always the underlying

I have thoroughly enjoyed The House on Camden Square series. So I was eager to read Be My Baby but also sad that it would be the end of the series too!

Be My Baby pulled me straight back into Evie, Chelsea and Mollie's lives and it was like seeing old friends again. The first chapter made me smile and showed Mollie's personality brilliantly. I couldn't wait to read Mollie's story and find out how it would all end.

The friendship that the girls share is lovely and this book aswell as the entire ser

A pleasant way to spend an afternoon! Michael has done a nice job making Mollie, and especially Esme, real and fun characters. You know, don't you, that things will work out with Jamie but she also makes that an entertaining dance. This is a quick read because it's both short and breezily written. You can read this as a standalone. THanks to Netgalley for the ARC.
