This memoir stands apart from so many memoirs I've read. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't about a girl's quest for a husband; it was about her love affair with her own words. That's not to say there's no mention of the marriage mission, but it was only the backdrop to her true desire which had nothing to do with men. Refreshing and beautifully-written, her words are a quiet, comfortable inspiration.

Fantastisk erindring.

Sounds interesting! Sad that she committed suicide, prior to her 60th birthday. Married and divorced 4 times. This memoir probably has causes for some of all that.
