When Officer Rick Boyd answers a call about a peeping Tom, he doesn’t expect to find a gorgeous woman holding the binoculars. But Gina Silvano’s no peeping Tom, and she can catch her cupcake truck’s kinky vandals herself, thank you very much. No sexy cops required.
No matter how hot their stakeouts, by-the-book Officer Boyd can’t see a future with a dangerous, rule-breaking wild-child who despises the law. He’s never felt more alive, though, and expunging her from his heart might be impossible.
But loving each other might cost them more than they are able to give.
USA Today bestselling author Kira Archer lives in Pennsylvania with her hubs and two kids. And 3 ridiculous cats. She's one of those people who laughs at inappropriate moments (especially overly emotional occasions like weddings or funerals), and she has an insanely overactive imagination which is great when she's writing but not so great when she's shutting all the lights off at night and then has to go up the stairs. She has a PhD in Procrastination (or would if there was such a thing and there soooo should be because she's seriously at expert level here). And if she's not writing, she's reading, or thinking about reading or writing. And running her kids around because they are busy and she's the taxi driver. She also writes historical romances as Michelle McLean.
I had so much fun reading this book. I loved the characters - especially Rick. He totally hit all of my fantasies! YUMMMY! Smoking hot, sexy cop with a twisted sense of humor and bulging muscles... How can anyone resist? Paired with a wild-child in Gina, this made for a cute and very sweet story with a fabulous HEA that is quite memorable. Sigh...
The author stokes those steamy fires and keeps them at a high temp throughout this fun read. Plenty of passion and crazy antics keep the amusement factor up as you turn those pages. What you end up with is an enjoyable book that you will devour delightfully.
A by the books cop, Rick, meets no rules apply, Gina. The sparks flew from chapter one! Gina's ex-boyfriend is breaking into her cupcake truck as a rendezvous spot while vandalizing the place to get back at her for breaking up with him. Gina is staking the truck out when the cops get called on her for being a peeping tom. Ricks instant attraction to Gina has him agreeing to stakeout the truck with her to catch her ex in the act. So many crazy things happen from that point on making this story fun and entertaining!
ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I've read a couple of other books by Kira, so I was excited to see this book.
I loved Gina in the previous book in this series and she definitely didn't disappoint. She's snarky and hilarious. Rick is a straight laced cop and they couldn't be more opposite. Watching them argue and banter was quite amusing...and never mind their chemistry.
Of course there's a breakup, but the grand gesture is adorable and the epilogue is perfect. Plus it was fun to see Natalie and Eric again. I can't wait to see who the next book in the series is about.
**Huge thanks to Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for providing the arc in exchange for an honest review**
This book was a fun surprise because it’s not only incredibly sweet and cute, but it has some hilarious moments too.
Gina Silvano is on the stakeout to find who is breaking into her food truck. She knows it’s her ex-boyfriend and is ready to catch him in the act. To Gina’s dismay, her neighbor calls the cops on her peeping tom ways. And in comes Officer Rick Boyd. Totally, boring straight laced Rick is caught off guard by this deviant beauty. They are polar opposites, but opposites attract right? Despite their differences, Rick and Gina can’t seem to stay away from each other. Can they overcome their differences?
Oh man, what a great book! Gina cracks me up. She is strong, sassy, defiant, but full of fun too. She’s a bit closed on in the emotional department and has a grudge against cops. I don’t blame her for her feelings toward cops because one bad experience can do that to you, but Rick shows her that not all cops are bad. She’s such a free spirit, an independent woman, loves to bend the rules, and sees life in gray. She’s very refreshing. But what I love most is how she lets love in when it’s staring her straight in the face.
“If there had been any doubt in her mind, that kiss had erased it. She was his. Heart and soul. Forever."
Now Rick is her polar opposite. The man gives his own sister a ticket for talking on the cell phone while driving!! Yes, it’s wrong, but what the heck! It’s hilarious because Gina jokes he’d probably give a ticket to a jaywalker…lol…he probably would. Rick’s a good guy but he needs Gina’s spontaneity to loosen him up. I like that he loves her enough to bend the rules for her. Now that is true love on Rick’s part.
“Because despite everything stacked against them, he couldn’t get her out of his mind. He was so screwed.”
I love their relationship. It’s the perfect example of how opposite attract and how despite what many of us think, the differences can keep us together. It makes it fun and interesting. Kira has given us another good book. Happy reading!
Rick is a cop. Has a strong sense of right and wrong, walks the straight and narrow, likes: rules, boundaries, and orderly routine.
Gina is a hotheaded spunky cupcake maker, with a spit fire attitude, technicolor hair, assorted piercings and a deep aversion to officers of the law.
Totally, Sweetly, Irrevocably is a cute and funny opposites attract romance. I liked the instant pull between them and the easy bantering but thought the pacing was a little fast.
Gina's self sabotage and Rick's giving up without a fight when crap hit the fan kind of took some of that initial heat away from the relationship.
I liked the lighthearted tone of the romance, the characters where well written and entertaining, I was just left wanting to see them as a couple, with none of that outside drama. Also Gina's ex getting with Rick's sister was just icky and I could have done without that whole scenario.
3 stars for keeping it fun, with minimal angst and giving that really sweet wedding scene at the end.
This was a really fun, romantic and sweet story! :)
These two were ridiculously cute together....from their banter to their sexy times, it will all put a gigantic smile on your face. Their story flowed soooooo easily and again, it was a really good time! You're not going to find any angst or drama here ... just joy :) (i feel like I'm repeating myself lol)

This is definitely another of those books where my recommendation is go read the novel instead of my review!
This is an engaging, laugh out loud romance featuring a handsome, rule following police officer and a rebellious, feisty, independent young lady who has little regard for the police. These two seem like total opposites and the attraction between them is instantaneous, unwanted and irresistible! Their first encounter is when an elderly lady calls the police to report that Gina is on the fire escape outside the lady's home, trying to catch the people using Gina's cupcake truck without her permission and Rick Boyd is one of the officers arriving to deal with the situation. This is the just the first of their encounters - and the start of a humorous, well written romance that I thoroughly enjoyed escaping into.
This is the second novel in the series and does include characters like Nat and Eric from the first book in the series, 'Truly, Madly, Sweetly' . As usual for this highly talented author, this story has extremely well developed characters, a plot full of twists and turns to keep you turning pages and, like the first in this series, totally lives up to its tagline in being ‘a sweet love story’! I particularly enjoy how the author brings her characters to life, revealing aspects of their childhood, their family and friends to help readers understand and empathise with them and their attitudes. This is a great read that I have no hesitation in highly recommending to anyone who enjoys escaping into a superbly crafted contemporary romance with comedic episodes interwoven throughout it!
Many thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Gina is keeping an eye on her cupcake truck to make sure nobody will break in again. Unfortunately someone called the police to report her for stalking. When officer Rick meets Gina he's surprised by how much he likes her. She isn't his usual type, she has piercings, multicolored hair and she makes her own rules. He offers to help Gina with the truck watching, so she doesn't do it unsupervised any longer while it also gives him the perfect excuse to get to know her.
Rick keeps meeting Gina professionally, which irritates him, but also makes him like her even more. They both think they are too different to make it as a couple, but they can't stay away from each other. Will their clashing personalities mess things up for Rick and Gina or will they change their minds and give themselves an actual chance at happiness?
Totally, Sweetly, Irrevocably is a wonderful romantic story. Gina is tough, she isn't afraid to speak her mind and she stands up for what she believes in. She constantly gets tickets and fines, but she doesn't back down for anyone. Rick isn't a rule breaker. For him the law is sacred and he does everything by the book. Even though they don't have much in common Gina and Rick are perfect together. I loved the chemistry between them. They are both sweethearts with kind and loving personalities and I liked them very much.
Kira Archer writes fun, flirty stories with interesting main characters. The men are gorgeous and adorable and the women are strong and beautiful on the inside and the outside. I really like the cheerful writing combined with great banter. The couples are always fascinating matches and I love the settings and vivid descriptions. Kira Archer's writing flows easily and I can never put any of her stories down. Totally, Sweetly Irrevocably is another charming love story, it's enchanting, cute and uplifting as well, which is a fabulous combination.
Ever since Gina Silvano was a little girl, she has hated Policeman - especially the ones that cite off at her "we are just doing our jobs and following the law". As when she was little she was taken by a policeman after her mother left her home alone one night when she was busy working and couldn't get a babysitter, she wasn't abandoned as her mother checked up on her and it was only for a couple of hours but it was enough for the police to get involved and take her away from her mother. Personally, this part I could relate to as on a personal note - I have seen this first-hand with my sister yet you read articles in the paper about how abusive families get to keep their kids and have ended up killing them yet, loving families have the children taken away from them and not given a chance. Anyway , back to the story - someone has been tampering with Gina's bakery food truck and as she has no evidence - the police can't do anything about it , so she has resorted to staking out her own truck. All is going well until one of the neighbours - an old busybody calls the police on Gina. They arrive and are surprised to find she isn't their usual Peeping Tom suspect and also she has a bit of Sass and Sarcasm going on there. Officer Rick Boyd is a rule follower, so much he has even given his sisters' tickets for breaking the law while driving. In order to try and keep Gina out of trouble he strikes her a deal and the pair become stake-out buddies and soon there are possible sparks flying between the two of them. However can Gina and Rick find a balance of good and bad or are they too different that they will never work out as a couple ?
Find out in Entangled Lovestruck's HEA sweet romance "Totally, Sweetly, Irrevocably' by Kira Archer.
When a book can make me laugh out loud repeatedly I consider it a win and Kira Archer's Totally, Sweetly, Irrevocably did that and more. This was truly a case of opposites attract and yet despite their vast differences they made sense. Fun and flirty but also extremely sexy I loved this book!
Rick Boyd is an uptight, rule following police officer. Gina Silvano is a free spirited, rule breaking bakery worker. When Rick responds to a peeping Tom call and finds Gina trying to catch her ex-boyfriend breaking in her cupcake truck with his latest squeeze and leaving a mess he reads her the riot act about irresponsible behavior and borderline illegal behavior and she ignores him and tells him his advice isn't wanted or needed. From the start these two have a volatile relationship but the heat between them is undeniable. I rather enjoyed their verbal sparring and how different these two viewed the world and their intimate moments were extremely hot.
There was a lot of craziness as Rick and Gina spend time together trying to catch her ex in the act and this book would not have been the same without Alejandro (and to find out who he is, you'll just have to read the book). Their stakeout adventures were legendary and while at times Rick's refusal to see any gray in his life drove me a bit nuts, he really was a good, upstanding guy.
I thoroughly enjoy the craziness and fun of this book and I appreciated that they made mistakes, owned up to them and moved forward.
Gina Silvano’s delivery truck for Sweet Treats bakery has been broken in twice in 6 weeks, nothing was stolen, but it was left a complete mess. She suspects the culprit is her ex Tony, since the problem started after she dumped him. Gina is trying to catch Tony in flagrante delicto, but her nosy neighbour, Mrs. Bogetti, calls the cops. Gina doesn’t like cops, even though one of the two who showed up is one gorgeous male specimen. Gina defends what she was doing, she was not stalking anyone, just trying to protect her assets. Gina with her multicoloured hair, piercings, and tattoos is not precisely Officer Rick Boyd’s preferred look for a woman, yet he thinks Gina’s cute, although difficult to handle. Rebel Gina can hardly stop drooling over him – of all people a cop! – but she’s not going to let him get away with anything either. Rick knows Gina will do something foolish. He has to protect her from her own foolishness, so he offers to help her look for who’s messing with her truck while he’s off-duty. And this is the beginning of one of the most wonderful opposites attract romances I have ever read.
I liked the blurb, I was looking forward to reading it, but that sort of trope is sometimes tricky, but Kira Archer makes it work beautifully. I loved that both characters listen to each other, and while they disagree, they’re not needlessly stubborn. Both Gina and Rick are superbly defined characters, and it was fun how everybody she knows teases Gina about hanging out with a cop, and her reasons are entirely justified, as we later learn. Gina and Rick push each other’s buttons, but in a friendly and playful, non-threatening way. They are polar opposites, we are not TOLD they are, but they demonstrate it; the characters literally speak for themselves. I loved how Gina and Rick eventually become close, and the romance totally worked for me, their chemistry is palpable; it’s realistic and such fun! There were a few twists that were pure genius, and I applaud Ms. Archer for being daring about how Gina deals with a wound; I was laughing out loud, and yet what Gina did was something that I would do.
Ms. Archer pays attention to detail in such a way that TOTALLY, SWEETLY, IRREVOCABLY is as clear as a HD movie, and yet the story is fast-paced and never bogged down with superfluous facts. The sex scenes are loving and passionate, I really felt the love between Rick and Gina, and they never behaved out of character. Towards the end, there is a splendid plot twist, and everything ends perfectly. TOTALLY, SWEETLY, IRREVOCABLY is absolutely irresistible, and one of the best books I have read all year. Kira Archer was a new author to me, and with one book, she became a new favourite of mine fan! To say I highly recommend this book is a major understatement! Absolutely excellent!
I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The book opens up with Gina Silvano the lead female character trying to spy on her own food truck, which actually makes sweets during the day but has to be parked on the street at night. She knows someone is breaking into her truck and causing damage to the point that she has to clean it up in the morning. Now that two things are leading her to think that it is her ex-boyfriend Tony, she has found the perfect spot to watch her truck, but her neighbor has now called the cops on her and once they show up it is when the real sparks begin to fly. Tina is someone who does not take s—t from anyone especially the police. Officer Rick Boyd and his partner Joe show up and immediately Gina can feel something different when Rick grab her ankle to pull her in from the fire escape. Not knowing that he was taking his life into his own hands for she went off on him and the two of them gave each other a look that made his partner say cuff her and put her in the car. She of course came back with he would not know how to use them differently. By the time they get her down to the car his partner Joe is smiling because he has never seen his partner taken back before. The take her to her apartment, and when they get back to the station they realize that she has taken off with a pair of night vision googles that with other items needed to be placed into evidence. Now having to go back to her place after shift he can’t find her until he goes down the block and finds her on the roof of a building. When he tries to get after her for taking the googles she says since they were not police and should have been logged in earlier in his shift she did not do anything wrong. Not wanting to or realizing that there was no point in arguing they finally agree to meet each night after his shift and he will help her in staking out her truck. Now these two are attracted to each other but are totally opposite and that is what makes this book. He is so by the book he even gives one if his sisters a ticket, he also gives her one as well. Later in the story you find out why she has a problem with police, but they are working on making it work. That is until one night when everything goes up in flames or I should say frosting, whip crème, syrup, and other items when she finally caught Tony in her truck. He is not happy and cannot see beyond his nose and they break up. Now it is up to his sister and her best friend to try to get them back together if possible. This is a very funny story with very good charters, and I really like Gina. There is so much more to this book so give it a shot it is a fantastic read. I got this book from netgalley. I gave it 5 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com
There are days in this rat race of life where you simply want to get lost in a good Romance, the giggle, laugh out loud kind. If that is exactly what your day needs then Totally, Sweetly Irrevocably is just what you should be reading – right now.
Gina is determined to catch her good for nothing, scumbag of an ex completely in the act of messing up her cupcake truck. She’s got a stake-out plan to catch him in the act – except the cops get called on her for peeping… what? She has no time nor use for cops and to have them called on her when she’s the one who’s been done wrong is just not right, at all. Too bad one of the officers is drool-worthy – not that she noticed, him being a cop and all.
For Rick this Peeping Tom call just got real interesting. One cute firecracker of a woman who obviously doesn’t like cops or doing things the usual way – like let the police handle the vandalism of her truck. He had no clue why he offered to help her do a stake out on her truck during his off hours. He knew full well that he shouldn’t be tangling up with someone with an active case, but… she’s just going to be his exception to the rules and hope he doesn’t get burned.
I was having a really bad day when I sat down to read Totally, Sweetly, Irrevocably. And it turns out that I picked the perfect story to get me out of my mood and into laugh out loud mode. As is usually the case, Gina had a very valid reason for distrusting the police. But soon enough she was more into Rick than she ever though possible. Talk about opposites attracting and somehow working, Rick and Gina, they just flowed together. Their story was funny, charming and simply hard to resist. Sure, they had their moments to overcome and get through, but at the base of their relationship was the stuff that people stick for, and that is what made their story so inviting and believable.
In the mood to laugh until you cry, the good kind of cry? Then this is the book you should be picking up. I’d definitely recommend this one for any Romance reader, it’s sure to touch a warm feeling somewhere.
*I received an e-ARC of Totally, Sweetly, Irrevocably from the publisher, Entangled Publishing-Lovestruck and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
Oh, what a fabulous, fun and sweet book! Seriously, I can barely wipe the smile off my face after spending some time with Officer Boyd and Gina. They were adorable together, all banter and playfulness and steamy, sexy heat. *Sigh* I kind of want to read it all over again…
After having met the slightly-crazy Gina in the first book of this series, Truly, Madly, Sweetly, I was thrilled to get the chance to know her better. I’d really enjoyed her (and Jared, also from book one), and was hoping I’d love her just as much. And I did—eventually. I have to admit that, at first, I found her a little abrasive, a little too combative, but as the book wore on, and Gina softened for Rick, my own heart softened for her. And by the end, I was all about seeing this outlandish, off-center woman get her man and her HEA.
And what a man (and HEA) she got! Rick was…oof, pretty much perfect. He was sexy and made these little, dirty comments that just sort of knocked me a little off-kilter. Which, FYI, was a lovely feeling. I loved how strong and alpha he could be, without ever feeling like an asshole—no matter what Gina might have suggested. And his family? The icing on the cake…pun intended.
In fact, I would love to see more of his family and more books in this series. I’m kinda, sorta, okay—definitely shipping Jenny and Jared, for no other reason than they both had this spirited, fun happiness about them (and the ability to drop truth bombs like it ain’t no thing…), and seeing them hook-up would be all kinds of awesome.
So, I hope that happens. But even if it doesn’t, I will be back for more from this author. I’ve now read a few of her books, and each one has left me heart happy and smiling. Which is exactly what a fabulous, fun and sweet book *should* do. ~ Beth, 4.5 stars
This is an amazing book. I loved it. It is too good, full of humour and romance. Gina is adorable and Rick isn't bad either. It's well-written and hard to put down once you start reading it. Definitely a must read for all romance lovers.
Gina is staking out to catch her ex in the act of defiling her truck. She is hell bound to catch him and see him punished for being an a**hole. She is very angry and extremely determined. Unfortunately, her mission is causing trouble for other people. Soon she finds herself being escorted by two police officers. Not that she has given up. Police officers really don't know any better. She is going to catch her ex no matter what.
Rick knows that Gina will never give up so he decides to help her out. What if he become her partner in these stakeouts. He is a police officer and he is trained to do this stuff. This way he will make sure that not only Gina is safe but also other people are safe from her. She is trouble but still he can't help but feel attracted to her.
Soon they are both head over heels in love and completely clueless as to how they are ever going to make their relationship work. There is too much baggage and too many differences to ever get over. They are going to try though.... because this kind of love happens only once in a blue moon...
I laughed a lot while reading this book, it's so funny and cute. Really a sweet romantic story. I think this books is perfect. I loved both Gina and Rick, and as a couple they fit together. There is chemistry between them, a perfect case of opposites-attract. I enjoyed reading it a lot and recommend it to all readers.
Totally, Sweetly, Irrevocably is book two in Kira Archer's Sweet Love series and it's oh so sweet! Gina is staking out her cupcake truck trying to catch vandals that have struck a hand full of times. She's sick of cleaning up the mess and wants to catch them in the act. She's sure it's her ex-boyfriend trying to get back at her for being dumped. Rick, a cop, is called when a neighbor reports Gina being a peeping tom. Rick is flabbergasted when he meets Gina. Sparks fly all over the place. Rick's instant attraction to her has him agreeing to help her stakeout the truck and catch her ex.
So many zany things happen in this fun and very steamy book! I really liked both main characters! Gina is a feisty girl who has a thing about authority. She rides the lines of what's right and what's illegal. She's of the opinion that if no one's hurt, what's the issue. Rick, on the other hand, is pretty by the book. Rules are rules and they are there for a purpose. Plus I gotta say, he totally does it for me. Totally ripped, muscles galore, and in uniform-swoon!! How could you not! I also loved their bantering. Both are quick witted and definitely a bit of opposites attract. When you have a by the rules and a rule breaker together, you know there's going to be all sorts of entertainment! I know I devoured every sweet bit!
4 stars/4 flames
I was gifted this book by the Jeep Diva for the express purpose of an honest review. The rating and review are solely my opinion and in no way was I compensated.
This book was so freaking entertaining. I loved every chaotic and hilarious moment of Totally, Sweetly Irrevocably.
Someone is breaking into Gina's food truck and not only having sex in it but they're also trashing her work place. She has a pretty good idea who is behind the mess and sets out to get proof. Her actions put Rick directly in her path and you're very thankful for it.
Because the sparks fly from the instant these two meet. IT IS AWESOME. Their witty banter and verbal insults create this incredible verbal foreplay - I was absolutely craving the moment that they stopped talking and just got it on. I knew a couple that fought so passionately was going to be hella hot once they gave into their lust.
And sweet Jesus - they were. Wooziers.
However, they have one major problem. They are complete opposites and the more time they spend together, the more glaringly obvious that fact is. But despite their differences, Rick and Gina can’t keep their hands off of one another and you're hopeful that they overcome their differences to find their happily ever after together.
It's a bit of a struggle to get there but it is an amusing and provocative ride. This is the perfect beach read. Gina and Rick were so much fun to experience and I highly recommend reading Totally, Sweetly Irrevocably. Grab your copy today!
Thanks to Netgalley and Entagled: Lovestruck for the digital reading copy in exchange for an honest review.
Rick and Gina are like fire and water. Rick is the rule-following, always correct policeman while Gina is rebellious and a tiny bit crazy. Still the chemistry explodes the first time they meet. I really loved the flirtaious banter between the two, it really made me laugh several times. Despite their opposited they were working really well as a couple and I really enjoyed them together.
There were several laugh-out-loud scenes throughout the story which made this book a very enjoyable read. Again I really enjoyed Kira Archer's writing style and I look forward to read more.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing (Loveswept) for the ARC for my honest review.
First time reading this author. Didn't realize it was 2 in a series.
That being said-it reads as a stand alone-I had no idea that it was the 2nd in a series. The book is fun and quirky and I loved the main characters. Rick and Gina definitely have chemistry. This is a sweet story with a few twists and turns. I think most romance readers will enjoy it. It is a nice change of pace from paranormal for me. Looking forward to reading more of her books. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Totally, Sweetly Irrevocably is the second book in the Sweet Love series by Kira Archer and I definitely need to read the first book, Truly, Madly, Sweetly which sets the stage. Archer is a new to me author and I will be adding her other books to my TBR pile!
This book was not what I expected. There was a playfulness throughout that was sweet especially given how different Officer Rick Boyd and Gina Silvano are both in personality and beliefs. Gina has a distrust of all things police, with a valid reason, but somehow she still finds herself attracted to Rick even though he gives orders and expects them to be followed plus he doesn't look the other way when someone isn't following the rules or the law. But opposites seem to attract in their case. It doesn't hurt that when they're together sparks do fly and ignite and they seem to be oh so hot for each other.
There are family and friends, neighbor, lies, rodents, anger, surveillance, crimes, injuries, the bakery and the truck, embarrassing moments, tears, anger, fear, hurt, lots of loving and love. Rick and Gina are a hoot together when Rick invites himself to help catch who's breaking into the truck and doing unimaginable things in it too. He doesn't want Gina breaking the law and taking matters into her own hands. It's one incident after another, some funny, some sad, but definitely with some laugh out loud moments. Seeing how good they are together takes them by surprise since neither is who the other one wants long term or do they? They have lots of time to get to know each other and do a lot of talking about their families, how they grew up and what they want out of life. When Rick loosens up he definitely bends the rules. Each is out of their comfort zone but it doesn't seem to matter the more time they spend together and the more they get to know each other. There is nice closure especially with the epilogue and a happily ever after that left me wanting more. Loose ends were tied up nicely and the crime was solved and in an unexpected way.
Favorite Quote: Rick laughed again. The woman was an aneurysm waiting to happen. So he really shouldn't be enjoying himself so much. For the first time in a long time, he didn't know what the next day would bring. The thought made him distinctly uncomfortable. He like his life ordered and organized. But at the same time, it was kind of refreshing.
Kira Archer is fast becoming a favorite author..... her books are fun, sexy, & entertaining. Totally, Sweetly Irrevocably is the second book in the Sweet Love series but can be read as a stand alone. The connection between Rick (a by the book police officer) & Gina (a fly by the seat of her pants kind of girl) is instant but confusing to both because they are just so different. I love how they work together to stake out her cupcake truck (& how Rick saves Gina from the rat mafia) This book has many laugh of loud sections & will just brighten your mood.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Loved this feel good story! It was funny, romantic, sexy and unusual! Highly recommend it for a nice endearing story that makes you smile with contentment when you are finished reading it.
I don't usually like rom coms, I enjoyed this so much! The humor was perfect, the characters were more than likable, and the conflict was reasonable. I would read more from this author.
