This is a good book for a beginner sewer who would like to make decorating items for their home. Window treatments, shower curtains, duvet covers and table linens are all covered here in their basic forms.

This is dated, as can be seen from the fabrics and general home decor, but the concepts are useful in learning how to sew different things for your home (pillows, curtains, bedding, and table coverings).
