This was really interesting to read as a contemporary polyamorous person. A lot of the concepts mentioned here are still relevant, and many of the studies the author mentions I had never heard of before.

It's definitely rather dry and academic, so be warned, but at least it's short!

Too much conflation of 'intimacy' with 'sex'. But lots of interesting stories; and great historical frame of reference for how long these things have been going on.
