The conclusion to USA Today Terri Anne Browning’s The Lucy & Harris Novella Series.

That was how Lucy Thornton felt in the aftermath of her breakup with Harris Cutter. Her family thought the best thing for her to do was to put the length of the country between her and Harris.

Reluctantly, she went.

The second Harris sets eyes on Lucy again, he knows she hasn’t moved

I’ve been a dedicated fan of Terri Anne Browning’s books since she started her Rockers series, so I was anxious to read her spin off series featuring some of my favourite protagonists’ children. Unfortunately, she completely lost me with “Un-Shattering Lucy.”

We left our heroes at the end of the previous instalment divided. Harris had been drugged and sexually assaulted by the devious Tessa, and Lucy is trying to move on after witnessing a video of Harris and Tessa supposedly having sex. Both ar

Un-Shattering Lucy was the fourth book in the Lucy & Harris series by Terri Anne Browning. It focused on Lucy Thornton, the eldest child of Jesse Thornton, the drummer of Demon’s Wings, and Harris Cutter, the eldest son of Devin Cutter, the drummer for OtherWorld. The series was a spin off of Browning’s Rocker series.

Un-shattering Lucy was the culmination of the Lucy & Harris series. I was aggravated with the previous cliffhanger and frankly, I thought Browning took an unnecessary and uncreative

It is ok to beat on someone you claim to love?

When lucy beat the carp out of Harris I lost respect for her and then her parents when they saw nothing wrong with it. Then Jesse laughed and it made me sad. It would have been far different had Harris beat on her. Also, the months after tessa he'd been sexually assaulted and the author treated the whole issue like he 'screwed' up and the pain and sorrow was all Lucy's. No wonder guys have such a hard time asking for help when they've been victimized

So when we left off in book #2 of this Novella series Harris had been raped (for lack of a better term), drugged and nearly killed by Tessa.

The result of this horrible event had left Harris & Lucy in disarray. Lucy begging to work it out with Harris and Harris telling her he was not good enough for her. With Lucy given no choice in moving away for a school semester she tries to reason with Harris.

After the semester is over and Lucy returns for her high school graduation Harris sees that everyon

So disappointing!
I used to like Lucy back when she was younger but now she's so annoying!
Too weak, so whiny and needy.

Most of the time I feel like I want to punch this chick and tell her to get her shit together!

And not to mention the drama. Arghhh this book really drove me insane!!

I was expecting a better story than this because this was the closure of the series. But too bad it wasn't like what I expected.
Some parts were just too impossible and ridiculous for my taste that I lost count on how

Lucy Thornton is reeling from seeing Harris Cutler, the love of her life, having sex on video with another woman. He'd been drugged and almost died from a lunatic's attack. She is trying to get those images out of her mind, but Harris isn't making things easy. He isn't answering any of her calls or texts and her own family thinks she needs to put some space between them. Their idea of space is leaving California and doing her last semester in Georgetown. But Lucy can't leave H

Un-shattering Lucy is the final novel in the Lucy and Harris series. It begins a few months after the the events of Rocking Kin/ Craving Lucy. I began the book a little mad at Lucy for one of her comments on Rocking Kin, but in this book I liked her. For me Un-shattering Lucy is the best novel in the series because the characters seemed more mature and sure about what they wanted. Also it touched a very delicate problem and the book turned out to be more emotional than I thought it would be. I w ...more
Fair read. I will admit though, I was hoping for a bit more angst and perhaps wanted it to be a bit harder for our lovebirds to reconcile. Just seemed a bit one-sided. All about the heroine's troubles, needs, or wants. What about his traumatic experience? Anyway, fair plot line and character chemistry. Read it at your own risk. Not standalone read. Must be read in sequential order.

Lucy & Harris were destined to have an HEA even if there were a few bumps along the way.
Harris has loved Lucy for as long as he can remember, he loved her as a best friend for so long, then love becomes lust. She loves him exactly the same way too. He tries to stay away, but he can't, then both their hearts are shattered. Harris needs to fix them back together, so they can continue on their life together, fiercely loving each other forever.

Straight on to Forever Lucy ❤️

I loved, and even re-read, all The Rocker series books. However, Lucy...I am NOT a fan of. As these books progressed she just got more and more co-dependent on Harris. All through the books she kept being referred to as strong, but no one that strong would ONLY be happy if her significant other was with her. I guess if you’re a fan of weak, pathetic, co-dependent girls you’ll enjoy this spin-off series. I have issues similar to Lucy’s and I deal with things on my own in addition to having a supp ...more

For me Terri Anne Browning's writing is never a bad read!

This is the last book (possibly) in the Lucy and Harris series. It picks up after a little time has passed between the Tessa drama. Lucy and Harris are both very depressed and not dealing with life well.

Lucy doesn't plan to see Harris but thanks to her high school graduation, she must return to California and since they are "family" they run into one another. Harris has decided to let Lucy move on since he keeps hearing about how fine

The conclusion I have been dying for! The 4th book in the Lucy & Harris series picks up right where we left off in Craving Lucy. Rocking Kin (book 3) just for reference sake, was about another couple but did give insight into events that happened in Craving Lucy in others's POV.

Lucy leaving for college clear across the country and Harris letting her go since he doesn't think either of them can get past what he did with Tessa while drugged was so hard to watch. And when they finally see each othe

This is the last book to a four part novella series. We finally get to know what happens with lucky and Harris but man are you in for a roller coaster. This book is full of emotions. You just want to yell at them both and tell them what they should do. This story is full of ups and downs and how when it's true love you don't have the option of moving on, or doing what's best for the other person. I was waiting for the final Lucy and Harris book forever and it was definitely worthed. The story picks up where it ended in ‘Craving Lucy’ and ‘Rocking Kin’. This story completely broke my heart. It was full of emotions, heartbreak. As same as the previous books from this series and ‘The Rockers’ series, Terri Anne Browning does a great job to show the importance of family and friends and their support to you even you are at your lowest. I loved it and totally recommend you to read the series. ...more

I've been waiting patiently for this book since the cliffy at the end of book 3. Exiled from her family and Harris Lucy is struggling but she's doing such a good job of hiding it nobody realises. When she comes home for her graduation Harris takes one look at her and sees the truth, that she's struggling just as much as him. Un-Shattering Lucy

by Terri Anne Browning

“Un-Shattering Lucy” is a beautifully sweet conclusion to this series. The book has the perfect mix of depth, secrets and soul crushing love. With highs and lows for both Lucy and Harris.
After everything these two have been through. Will they finally get their HEA? YES!!! Thank goodness!

I absolutely loved every single word of this book! Reading this story reminded me again and again why I should have read this book along time ago, but also why I love these characters with my whole heart. The story was emotional, it was wrong, it was rough and it was hard at times to read because of the struggles of these characters, but it was so real. It was heartbreaking but also breathtaking. It gave me so much with these characters. It brought me into the dark with them, but it also let me ...more

I've been following this series from the very beginning. It was pretty decent then but as the books went on and the spinoffs happened I was really put off by a lot of things.

First, Emme. I'm just really blown away by how she's written to be this all-powerful Goddess who everyone should fear because she can literally make things happen. Everyone runs to her like she's the end all be all of everything. She needs to be in everyone's business and meddle into everything. Gimme a break!

Lucy Thorton and Harris Cutter were on their way to an everlasting love. Until a misunderstanding breaks them apart and they both struggle to pick up the pieces.

Lucy was a broken girl after her breakup with Harris Cutter. It was time she put her own needs first and move on with her young life. She went but she wasn't happy about it. Lucy carries a s

WOW...I wish that was all I needed to say! This book was amazing! I think it was my favorite if that is even possible because I have loved them all. Like the series but after everything that happened I think realistically I don't see what happening to Harris as easily overlooked. They never talked about it and how Harris felt when he found out what was done to him. Why he sent Lucy away and any after effects either one of them had.
It did bring to light to everyone what Lucy had been doing and how they would get through it. It wasn't fully developed IMO.
Things just carried on without consequences on how Harris treated Lucy.

3 stars.

Lack of communication was infuriating. And I "loved" how the entire issue of harming yourself was just overshadowed by them moving in together. Not sure, how I feel about this one, honestly. It was a nice quick book to read while getting to and from work, but it still really annoyed me at times.

Heartbreakingly warm romance

It all made sense now. Why both our parents were there with the rest of my closest family members. Oh, gods, this was surreal and so exquisitely beautiful I couldn’t catch my breath. This book touches on a realistic subject “self-harming” as well as where to get help. I love Lucy and Harris love story.

Oh my freakin gods! So addictive!

These entire series is sooo addictive!

The strong family bond, the inspiring love story and the life struggles is sooo real. But what i love most in these series is that at the end of the day despite of hardship and everything... love prevails, family matters and for me that is all what i need the most.
