Who's behind us? Who's in front of us? Too often we forget that we are all linked somehow and never alone. Playfully, the storyteller has left hints in his illustrations, engaging the reader in a clever guessing game as to who will appear on the following page.
As an adult who can speak some Japanese and read even less, children's picture books are a great help. Since Japanese children have to be able to read Hiragana and Katakana before they can enter elementary school, it's probably intended for children around 3-5. Given It basically only covers directions and animal names, I'd say this book is a great choice for beginning readers of all ages.
Clever book that shows animals next to each other individually, then shows them all where they are at in location to one each other. Teaches prepositions.
