A beginner's guide on how to paint, especially in the medium of oils. Basics regarding color, composition, and contrast are among the topics covered. Many illustrations.

Completely unreadable. The basics were ok such as ratios of linseed oil but when it comes to pages of reading dry script about the nuanced yellow used in these b&w illustrations, it's pointless.
