Secrets in the silence...

Look, I know love isn’t easy at the best of times. What if the person you are starting to have feelings for doesn’t talk? Do you trust the sexual tension? Can you believe what you think you see in their eyes? Is it better to trust in the silence or look for your own answers? In Inarticulate there is more than one mountain to climb to reach the top. How can you trust your heart to stay safe when you don’t trust the person you are giving it to?

I struggled with this story,

When an author takes you out of your comfort zone and transports you to a new world, it feels like a high. You're nervous, excited and down right scared, but that free fall becomes everything to you. "Inarticulate" had all the makings of a unique beautiful storyline that captured your heart and made silence, the most loudest voice possible.

Savannah has been pretty content with her professional life. But when a hotel settlement goes wrong, she's sent to Seattle to do damage c

This story is straight up OK for me. Keenan was a hero with those kinds of contradictory character traits that make the best book boyfriends, but he was a bit flat for me as well. Once everything started to come together it was a pretty good book. If you can stick it out until the end, you will enjoy it!

INARTICULATE blew me away with its unique storyline and its SWOONY and SILENT hero. Best Eden Summers book TO DATE! One of the best hero/heroine coupling I've read in a long time. Just fucking incredible. Eden, I'm so FREAKING PROUD of you!

Savannah and Keenan's story captures and intrigues. It will thrill and romance you. You will become enamored by page one and will continue to get sucked in with the great writing, unique plot, and incredible characters. Your heart wi

I like the intensity between Keenan and Savannah. They both have emotional baggage and secret that makes them hold back declaring their love. I love Keenan. He is mute but can speak many emotion through his eyes.

Now why the 3 stars? I can not stand the dramatic of writing style. Too much to describe everything. At one point, I just fall asleep. Such a shame for such a good book. the characters chemistry is good. better than good. The plot/ story is promising. I want this book to be 5 stars to m

"You're a guilty indulgence, do you know that?"

That's exactly how I feel when I'm reading an Eden Summers book. I let everything go, including sleep, and dive in. It's better than chocolate and lasts longer. I found Inarticulate to be different from her other books and as I got deeper into the story it became more and more intriguing. But the things that I've come to depend on from this author were present. The characters were engaging. The witty banter was plentiful. The suspense was exciti

The blurb for Inarticulate intrigued me, and once I started reading it, through to when I reached the end, I was in love with Keenan and Savannah (Savvy).

Savannah's first impression of Keenan was "well, he's a hot a$$hole" because he refused to speak to her. In all honesty, I thought the same thing. Little did she know, though, who the real Keenan was and why he refused to speak to her.

Savvy's been warned about Keenan, yet she refuses to listen because she sees through him, to the real him. Ke

Ugh. Why. Did it have to be this book?! To be quite honest, I'm so disappointed in Inarticulate.

As soon as I read the blurb I wanted the book in my hands.

It said this:

At first sight, Savannah is drawn to the harsh appeal of a man who refuses to talk to her. Keenan’s hard stare is arrogant and unapologetic. The quirk of his sensuous lips is cocky and in control..

And then this:

Wow what can I say about this AMAZING book? Well let me start off by saying Eden blew me away with this story. It is unlike anything I have read in a romance novel before. The story is so new and different that I just loved it. This is one book I couldn't put down. I was running into walls and doors because my kindle was glued to my face. This is a must read for 2016, oh hell it is a must read for anytime. Keenan's letters intri

What intrigued me at first is the blurb, the non speaking hero and the intrigue. I happen to like characters with unique traits or disabilities and the way they are portrayed are different for each story. The why, how and little details that make it more realistic. I've read a few books that featured a mute or unspeaking character, there can be multitude of reasons for it as well as many takes on it. Here it's the unknown factor for Keenan's bringing in the mystery factor.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I cracked open Inarticulate. But in typical Eden Summers style she had me hooked right from the start.

Reconnecting with family during a work visit to Seattle should have been all it was about for Savannah, but things turned into so much more when she met Keenan.

Keenan is all silence an intrigue - and that piques her interest a lot more than it should.

This is a story full of lust and passion, with a whole lot of myster

This book is ridiculously AMAZING.
First of all, Eden is BRILLIANT. How do you write a romance novel without the sweet yet boringly cliché nothings the hero always seems to utter? Don't let the guy talk!
This nonverbal element added SO much to the book. It was truly a stroke of genius and I loved it. I LOVED IT!!! Different, refreshing, new, WOW!!!

Loved it!!! The synopsis intrigued me but I wasn't sure how I'd get into a story where the hero is mute. Then I started reading and remembered how much I love this authors writing! Her style is so smooth and crisp, no filler with lots of dialogue (even with a MC that doesn't speak!) and never a dull moment in the story. I absolutely fell for Keenan. I wanted to slap him a time or two as well, but mostly I adored him. Savannah was an amazing heroine too... Not a wishy washy chick just a girl who ...more

I've read a lot of books by Eden Summers, but this one has shot to the top of my favourite list! I found myself emotionally connected to Inarticulate quite quickly. I loved that Keenan, the hero in the story, wasn't your typical guy, he had a flaw that you couldn't see at first glance. But what I loved the most was that the heroine, Savannah, was able to see past that to the man that he was beneath the surface. It was a journey of self discovery for Savann

The story has laughs, secrets, betrayal, suspense and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this short story.

This is Savannah and Keenan’s story. Keenan does not speak. He has secrets and in the end is everything these secrets hiding going to destroy Savannah? Keenan is able to be open around Savannah’s cousin but not her. This leaves Savannah to walk away feeling betrayed. Can these two get past the secrets and lies in order to build a relationship? Or will other people get involved to mak

“Keenan wasn’t merely a man. He was above and beyond. He was one in million, someone unique and fascinating."
~~ Yes he was, but miscast in this book as a tormented caricature because withholding his secrets so long prohibited burrowing beneath the surface angst to know and understand him until the very end. You see, he was fooling us all along, but we didn't know ... or why. It's a big gamble to sacrifice an H for the sake of a conclusive, big reveal.

Savannah and Keenan, both drew me into a life I have no knowledge, yet he is hiding more than not being able to speak. Savanna is in Seattle on a business trip, one mainly to oversee the changing of ownership. Old things come to bear on this trip like her cousin Dominic and his sister Penelope. I’m not sure what I expected going into Inarticulate, but I was definitely intrigued by the blurb. I’m in a bit of an unusual position now, having to admit that I struggled to get through it in some places while I almost devoured it in others. So let me start by saying first that this book was very well written. Eden Summers has a way of weaving her words elegantly, and this book, given the constraints of the hero, absolutely warranted that type of writing skill. Unfortunately, though, for as mu ...more

Let's see if I can *ahem* articulate my thoughts on Inarticulate

First off, this is a riveting story. That Summers was able to make a character, who couldn't speak, so compelling was a feat. I was fascinated with Keenan and completely under his spell from the get-go. I could tell there was more than meets the eye with him. He was enigmatic and not only because of his silence. The way he was able to communicate through body language and facial expressions was awe-inspiring. Who n

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Savannah works for Rydel Hotels. Her ex boyfriend Spencer, is the heir to the hotel chain. He made some mistakes but he's arrogant enough to think he can win her back. Too arrogant if you ask Savannah. Savannah is being sent to Seattle to deal with a problem. A problem her boss volunteered her for because it involves her cousin Penny. It seems Penny is the main problem.

Having read and absolutely loved another book where the male character didn't talk, I was eagerly anticipating this one.

This was my first book by Eden Summers and initially I found myself drawn into the story. However I eventually noticed that not a great deal was happening besides an awful lot of to-ing and fro-ing of Savannahs feelings for Keenan. I literally had whiplash from the amount of times she changed her mind. One minute she'd be all 'I can't deny these feelings any more' to 'Me and Ke

This book is at the top of my favorites this year. I have read books from her other series and I knew that I loved her writing. However, this book put her highest in my favorites. The story just blew me a way. It is so unique. The main male character didn't speak. Keenan had secrets and was mute. Savannah, the main female character, came to town for work and ended up captivated by this mysterious man.

Thank you Sharon J for recommending this book to me. This was an amazing read. I thought the story for the most part was enjoyable and I did love this push and pull relationship that Keenan and Savannah had. Also, I thought Savannah and Keenan were fantastic characters. I thought they had amazing chemistry. Keenan is sexy, silent, lovable and adorable. He really made me love him without him being able to talk.
