Determined to save her ranch and avert Adam Carrigan's plans to watch her fail and buy her land, horse expert Camille Kendall steels herself against the challenges of the untamed wild west, but is unprepared for her attraction to Adam. Original.
This book had too many problematic elements in it for me to enjoy it. First, the men dressed up as Indians to scare the woman off her property. There was also a slur used in this book. Second, the first time they had sex they were completely wasted and she woke up in a ball sobbing the next morning because of what happened. Third, one of the times they had sex she thought she was dreaming and woke up to them actually having sex. A lot of the sex scenes in here felt like borderline assault. I enjoyed the end of the story, but overall there were too many horrible aspects to this book.
