I really enjoyed this, especially the suggestions for building your own home-made observation tools. My students might enjoy a class project to build an astrolabe or cross-staff.

A decent book for kids about the night sky, it has a lot of fun science crafts that go along with the information. I only wish it was based on God's Word and not man's speculation.

This was a good introduction to constellations but the book seemed out of order. Tere were little quizes about the stars before they had actually introduced them. But the maps of the sky are good, and as this is an older book, it was probably one of the first teaching books for this topic. There are probably lots of others like it now. Great for someone with a telescope.
