For a brief period of time I had the goal of collecting Jesus-ist books castigating rock music as evil. I soon realized I'm not a great collector. This was the first one of these books I bought, which includes cheesy diagrams, quotes from scripture, and the classification of "bad bands," noting which of the five evils their music contained: sex, drugs, rebellion, false religion, and satan. I think I read most of this on a road trip.

This book is to be enjoyed as an archaeological artifact. Maybe some people still think this way about rock and roll. But thirty-five years ago, a great many more did, including a younger version of myself.

The funny thing is, the author makes a logical argument, with plenty of Biblical evidence. It must be added, however, that implementation is difficult if you want to be not only happy but human.
