I have been in a lookout for books about meditation until one day I met the author and found out about this book. A lot of helpful and easy guide for me to follow in solving my struggles in live.

Whether we like it or not, the source of our problems mostly is ourselves and with this book I believe it even more. With the guides from this book, I managed to channel my energy to a better direction and it has helped me to reduce anxieties and supressed angers.

Focusing on the benefits of meditation and living mindfully, this book guides the reader towards stress-free living. In “Mindfulness for Beginners: How to Live in the Present, Stress and Anxiety Free” the author provides techniques intended to foster the positive and purge the negative. The basic idea: by being aware of your thoughts and changing your outlook, your outcome can be changed for the better.

The book had some good ideas for beginners, such as slowing your pace, appreciating the small things and being aware of your feelings as you interact with your surroundings. These are all great places to start for anyone looking to gain a bit more control over their emotional state.

Good info-terrible editing.

Good hints on being mindful, but the poor editing was very distracting. Will be taking some of the advice to heart in my attempt to be more present in my life.

I've read several books by this author and about this topic, and I simply love the way he handles discussing topics like this for people who aren't used to dealing with new things. It is a simple and easy to follow introduction to the content, and from here someone would be able to easily branch out in any direction they wanted to continue their education. It is clear and concise as well without a lot of wasted paragraphs about nothing. I love how relatable the content is as well.

All in all, a great beginners guide!

This was a very informative and helpful book about practicing mindfulness. Something most of us forget to do. I don’t know a single person who is completely stress free and wouldn’t benefit from this book and its practice examples. I have recommended to many of my friends.
