I. Give. Up.
I rarely DNF a book (no matter how bad it gets) but I’m officially throwing in the towel on this one because I just can’t do it anymore! There are so many more books waiting to be read and it’s the end of the day and I can’t find an ounce of strength to push through this anymore.

All I can say is the h was painful to read. Her character did not make any sense. (view spoiler) With

Atlas by Allison Ryan was the first book in the Sons of the Billionaire Titan series. It was my first book by the author.

Atlas Titan was the son of one of the richest men in the world. In turn, it made him one of the richest men as well. He was a retired seal, former clandestine operative and current entrepreneur with his brothers.

Piper Kipton was the former step daughter to Atlas Titan’s father, Emerson Titan. They still kept in touch long after the short marriage had ended. Currently Piper wa

Man o man, these two were like rabbits throughout the whole story! Couldn't keep theirs hands off each other. He story was ok, dunno, there's something missing, can't really put my finger on it .

Skip about 40 chapters just so I could finish

I normally never give reviews but for the life of me I cannot see where all the 5 stars are coming from. It was like this was written be a 15 year old after watching bad pornography.

DNF - I just couldn't finish this one. The characters weren't developed and their relationship was completely unbelievable. And why would a woman who had just gotten out of an abusive relationship want to give herself to someone she barely knows and offer to do anything to please him? My first and last book to pick up by this author.

So much was wrong about this book for me. I don't mind intsta-love stories but this was just wrong. I cannot imagine a young women behaving as Piper does after what happened to her. PTSD doesn't just mysteriously vanish. And I also expect Seals to behave with much more integrity.

Another miss for me by this author. Atlas started out good with the whole (view spoiler) and the drama of an evil ex. Don't get me wrong I love an insta-love/lust story but this was just insane! Wasn't much character development just endless sex-capades which I found really odd for Piper because of her (view spoiler). I don't know maybe it was just me. I feel like I might give Odin a shot jus ...more

DNF! In what world a girl how abused by her boyfriend will tell a gay she don't really know "my body is yours do whatever you want whit it"???? this book is 100% unrealistic and doesn't written well :/

This book was alright. Mostly it is about them "going at it" at all times.. I mean seriously at all times. Towards the end of the book is where it really picked up with the action involving the "bad" guys. I would like to read the next book to see if they take care of threat that was in this book.

Disappointing

I didn't even bother to finish reading this book after suffering through a third of it. The character Atlas seemed to have a split personality. A supposedly hardened SEAL with no control? The author, while having some skill, felt the need to hide it behind dropping an f-bomb with the zeal of an adolescent boy. Very disappointing.

Can a book be good and awful at the same time? Well this one was. I was a good mystery but all the explicit sex was unnecessary. I skipped over a lot of it. Don't get me wrong I like reading the sexual part but this was just over the top. I felt it took away from a good story. I find it hard to believe people who have been shot or beaten would be thinking of having sex and jump at it. Also this is a cliffhanger but I don't know if I will purchase the next book (got this one for free) just to sca ...more

Unbelievable

Why do authors fill pages & pages with sex scenes & call it part of a plot? (Spoilers) & why have someone who has been so abused, is still bruised from the abuse & is so afraid that she gets protection only to fall immediately into pages of domineering sex scenes? The plot was so silly that I couldn't finish this book. When I read, I don't want unbelievable, I want a really good story.

Recommends it for: Everyone
This is my first Alison Ryan book (I decided to read it because I saw a blurb on Odin - I can't read a 2nd book without reading the 1st.. my OCD won't let me). I am glad I read this first since there is a bit of a cliffhanger at the end. Atlas and Piper have so much chemistry that it seems they literally cannot keep their hands - and other body parts - to themselves. At times I wondered how they got anything done. I love a good alpha male and Atlas ABSOLUTELY qualifies as one of those.

I have never read a book with such an intense emotion and filled with suspense like Alison Ryan’s “Atlas”. The story is mainly focused on Atlas, an ex seal coming from a very rich family who gets a delicate assignment from his father. He must protect his ex step-sister from an abusive man who also happens to be a famous congressman. After their acquaintance, Atlas and Piper will madly fall in love and from there on, the story will have a series of twists leaving the reader breathless and overwhe ...more

Okay read

I did not find this book as interesting as I expected it was a bit slow with more about the sex than any interest in the actual story. I found it somewhat boring when it could have been an interesting and vibrant story with a hot alpha male alas it was not.

Could this book been any more of a cliche? He's a former Navy SEAL, who also happens to be a multi-millionaire, and has to protect his former step-sister, whom he had the hots for when they were kids and their parents were still married. The antagonist just happened to go through BUDs with the hero (aptly named Titan- add the cheese), is now a US Senator, a sadist, rapist and raging lunatic. Our hero Titan works for a super secret squirrel, so ultra black you have never heard of it government as ...more

Ehh

Yikes, this was almost a DNF for me. I struggled to finish it. It had a plot that held some weight, but the uncontrollable rabbit sex on every other page just didn't work for me. I don't mind sex in books, but that's ALL THEY DID. LIKE, all the time. Sex scenes as fillers maybe? It was like a cheesy porno on steroids. The instant love wasn't bad, but the characters weren't developed enough for me. Plus, it ended on a cliffhanger..I can not bare to read the next one, so ehh, I'm good not know

Atlas (Billionaire Titans Book 1) my new favorite Alpha

This story is chalked full of heart-pounding action, violence, sex, & romance. It never stops moving forward, which makes it very difficult to put down, each chapter leaving you ready for the next. Amazing chemistry between the main characters Atlas & Piper.
Warning! book ends with a bit of a cliffhanger, claiming HEA ending for Atlas is in book 2.
Personally I'm going to look for book 2 because I loved this book 1 in the series.

Oh boy

I don't even know where to start. This could have been so much better than that. But it was buried under instant love and multiple unrealistic orgasms. Now I know these books aren't real. But there has to be some form of life you can relate to. Or at least try. This was all over the place. Completely random. Not even for a second was I impressed. I was exhausted just reading about all the sex. Overshadowed the story line. Ruined it. Too much of a good thing is just too much.

Story kept me intrigued, sex a little over the top

I found the premise of the story interesting and the plot, while far fetched was still entertaining. Not a lot of character development but enough to really like Atlas and find Piper ok. The part of the book after the precipitating event is deftly written and really had me glued to my screen throughout. Nicely done climatic event but was unhappy about the cliffhanger. Will probably read book 2.

It was ok

It was better that some others I've tried to read the past few days. But I didn't really feel the emotion between Piper and Atlas. There were some minor errors like different spellings of Ronnie's name and at one point VZ is referred to as a girl. I'm not sure if I will read the next one.

Atlas is a billionaire retired Navy seal. And his father need him to help him take care of his stepsister who he has not seen since she was 12 .. but when he say either wow was he impressed beautiful and he wants her in his bed for one night he thinks. The book with so- so I like books that has their ending right then and there this one didn't I had to read another book just to get the ending.

Did not enjoy

Way too much sex. A little is enjoyable, this was just boring. I like books with some reality, this did not. Atlas was overpowering, just the type the girl was running from. Could have been a good book, but seemed the author was more intent on seeing how many different ways she could have the main characters have sex. Boring.

Very suspenseful, especially near the end, which is the part of the book I enjoyed the most. There is a lot of violence and an extraordinary amount of sex. It does, in fact, end on a cliffhanger. That is something I don't really like, but this book, for me, was worth the read.

Intense

This was not the book I expected it to be. This was full of suspense and while the timeline for falling in love was a big quick, it was a very good read. I would recommend this book for a quick but intense book.

Oh WOW!!!

Man oh man what a man! Wish I could find a man like Atlas! Good read. Plan to read all in the series. Women will not agree but too much sex even when they were in dangerous situations. Still a good book.

Good or bad

Deciding if the players are good or bad is part of the story--do you start on one side and change, or what? Lots of sex, all over the place, money and wondering who do you trust! Do not think I will finish the series.

Ummmmmmm... 2.5, story line might have been ok if they weren't having sex every few pages! Never rolled my eyes so many times in a book, good thing it was free and that it counts in my yearly challenge as a book with a one word title ..
