This Christmas pantomime is about to be the talk of the town!

Luna Bay’s festive preparations are well under way and the much anticipated annual pantomime is to be, once again, the highlight of the season. Too bad that the village’s very own actress and darling of Broadway, Alice Woods, isn’t feeling in the mood for Christmas.

Until the pantomime comes under threat and a gri

I’ve been loving the books in the Luna Bay series but have to say that this one is my favourite so far! I’m a sucker for Christmas romances at the best of times but throw in a Hollywood hunk and I’m weak at the knees! I’ve loved the girls who have been in the series so far but when I spotted Alice, sitting quietly and rather sadly at The Breakfast Club set within the Sunflower Cottage, I have been waiting to find out her story. You can read this as a standalone novel if you fancy a little Christ ...more

Since reading The Sunflower Cottage Breakfast Club by Lynsey James, I absolutely could not wait to get started on The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomime. Whether you think November is too early or not to get cracking on those festive reads, this will certainly turn your cheeks rosy with joy and warm you from the inside and out. It's funny, romantic, and positively brimming over with fabulously crafted characters and a hearty helping of emotion too.

So far I have loved The Luna Bay series, and book 3 did not disappoint. It was extra exciting as it is a Christmas read. Although it can be read as a standalone, its always much nicer to read in order to capture the true charactors.
In this next installment, The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomine, we meet Alice Woods. Alice had a very successful career on Broadway and when the love of her life, Jamie dies she gives up acting and returns home to Luna Bay. Still grieving for her lost love, Alice has

This is book three in the Luna Bay series, I loved The Sunflower Cottage Breakfast Club and still have The Broken Hearts Book Club sitting waiting to be read! This time we explore the life of Alice, she was the quiet shy one who sat in the corner of the breakfast club not wanting to engage with anyone. Now we find out why.

It’s the run up to Christmas, not a season she enjoys and is in fact dreading but she finds herself playing an elf at the local department store grotto. Grumpy Santa, failing s

What an enchanting and heart warming story to lead you up to the Christmas period this year. I am loving the Luna Bay series of books, and this one definitely kept me interested in the story, and had me smiling quite a lot.

If you read The Sunflower Cottage Breakfast Club, you will already be slightly familiar with the character of Alice Woods. If you haven't don't worry this is a fully standalone book, although there are plenty of familiar faces to be seen too.

I was really in the mood for a happy, lighthearted festive novel, and that’s exactly what I got! It was so nice to revisit Luna Bay, the warm and homely location of the previous book in the series. (You can read my review of that here!) The village, a rural hideout in Yorkshire, seems like the perfect setting for a lovely festive story.

The story focuses on Alice, who we briefly met in the previous book. We knew she was quiet, introverted, and tended to hi

One thing is certain. Till now I've only read Lynsey James's debut novel and I had some problems with it. However, "The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomime" is Lynsey`s fourth book and I can absolutely, totally ascertain that it is much, much better than her debut, both in writing style, characters descriptions, storytelling and general feel. I was a little sceptical of requesting this author's book after the first novel that I've read but now I actually regret not doing it!

Thank you to Netgalley, Carina UK and Neverland Blog Tours for providing a copy in exchange for review.

I swear it was only 5 minutes ago that it was my turn on the Sunflower Cottage Breakfast Club blog tour, and now Lynsey’s back with yet another book, The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomime. Seriously Lynsey, tell me your book writing secrets… I’ve barely written one in the time it has taken you to write 4! *wails miserably* The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomime is the third book in the Luna Bay se

I loved the Sunflower cottage breakfast club. Which is the first book in the Luna Bay series so if you haven't read it please check it out. I promise you'll love it. That being said this book can also be read as a stand alone book because although you won't know what has happened before.

The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomime is the third book in Lynsey James’ Luna Bay series and is yet again a brilliant read. I was really pleased to find out that my hunch about who this book would be based around was right and that Alice Woods, who pops up briefly in The Sunflower Cottage breakfast Club is the main character in this new book.
Alice Woods used to be Broadway superstar until three years ago her world came crashing down and she was left heartbroken and alone in New York. Vowing never

Lynsey James takes us back to Luna Bay with her enchanting and enjoyable new novel, The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomime!

Alice Woods’s life was once absolutely perfect: she had a gorgeous fiance, her acting career was flourishing and she was the darling of Broadway. Alice felt that she was truly living the dream, until a cruel twist of fate claimed the love of her life and left her bereft, vulnerable and absolutely devastated. Unable to even contemplate spending the rest of her life without her

With panto season wrapping to a close in most theatres in the country now, its the time i shared my thoughts on The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomime. Having briefly visited Luna Bay before it was nice to visit in the midst of christmas, its a shame some people were not feeling the festive spirit. Alice Woods does not have the special place in her heart for christmas not anymore, not when it holds such special memories. So more than happy to work as a chris

I have to admit I haven't read the first book in the series which tells Lucy and Jake's story although I am hoping to get around to reading it soon. However I have read The Sunflower Cottage Breakfast Club and I really enjoyed my visit to Luna Bay. During the book you are introduced to Alice and I wanted to find out more about her character and her back story. So when I saw that The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomime was Alice's story I couldn't wait to read it! Even though this isn't the first bo ...more

I received an electronic copy of this book for free from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. I've been following this series since book one and loved all three books in the series. This was a delightful continuation of the Luna Bay series. I love this location. It's the perfect setting for these sweet, cozy, chic-lit reads. I especially loved that this book had a Christmas theme to it. I adored the main character and her potential love interest. I would recommend this book to all! ...more

The Silver Bells Christmas Christmas Pantomime is book three of Lynsey’s Luna Bay series. I really liked diving into this series and it was fab to go back to Luna Bay and discover new as well as old things.

The story follows Alice Woods, former Broadway actress. She come back Luna Bay years ago, but cut herself away from everyone, she doesn’t like Christmas and struggles with anything connected to acting and performing. When she is

This Sunday it's my stop on The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomime. I have read all Lynsey's previous books, and I can honestly say they never fail to put a smile on my face! Lynsey has a huge talent with words, and her description of the fictional place of Luna Bay are tantalising and vibrant.

In this third instalment in Luna Bay series, we are introduced to yet another interesting character Alice Woods. The opening chapter of this book gives a pretty good idea about Alice's life and her intense d

The Silver Bells Christmas Pantomime is a lovely seasonal romance, just right for when you fancy a quick read to get you in the mood for Christmas. This is the third in the Luna Bay series but it can be read as a standalone, as I did. It has all the ingredients you'd expect- cozy settings and wintry nights but there is more to the book than that. There is the humour to be found in the characters, especially in the cast and director of the pantomime itself. Then there is Alice as she tries to com ...more

Do not be put off by the fact that this is in a series. You do not need to have read any previous books to be able to read and fully understand everything going on. That being said, this will make you want to read the rest of the series and anything else to follow.

I really enjoyed the story of Alice who after 3 years was still grieving the loss of her beloved Jamie. She then meets actor Ethan Fox and her life begins to change. It was a lovely sweet story of moving on which touched my heart. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I was given a copy of this book by Netgalley for my honest opinion.
I liked this book a great deal, but for me it missed a little something that pushed it to really good. I think it had something to do with the instant attraction, but I will save my thoughts for my full review

Lynsey James was born in Fife in 1991 and has been telling people how to spell her name ever since. She's an incurable bookworm who loves nothing more than getting lost in a good story with memorable characters.
