Just One Kiss by Susan Hatler is a 2016 Hatco publishing release. I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Wow, what cleverly written romantic comedy!

Charlie gave up her acting dreams so her husband could make the big time. But, after finding him in a compromising position with a rock groupie, the couple divorced and all Charlie has left is a mansion she can’t afford to keep.

She will have to sell the house... or she can write a tell al

Susan Hatler is a queen of clean romance! This is such a great series and I loved reading Charlie's story. Each book in the series can stand alone, but other characters make appearances, as each book is about a different woman in a group of friends.

Charlie gave up her acting dream to marry her high school sweetheart, turned bad boy rock star. After a messy divorce, she's healing in her mansion in her hometown and agrees to have a popular soap opera film in her house for a month to save herself

This was my first full length novel of Susan's. Previously, I had only read a few novellas in her Better Date than Never series. I really enjoyed the novellas I've read but I really wanted to love a full novel of hers and I'm glad I did :D

The Kissed By The Bay series is a lighthearted romance series. I love profound romances because they tend to pull at my emotions but I very much enjoy a light romance that will keep me invest

This is a great book; this is the third book in the Kissed by the Bay series written by Susan Hatler. This book can be read as a standalone, but once you read this one you will want to go back and read the other books in this series. Happy release day to Just One Kiss!!

I was SO looking forward to this book. After reading the previous books, I just KNEW Charlie's story was going to be good. Charlie and Luke. Luke and Charlie. LOVE.

BUT. The road to love is rarely easy. Up and down. Give and take. Misunderstanding. And kisses. Don't forget the kisses. It's what makes a great love story!

One of the things I love about this book is that it really makes me feel like I'm Charlie's friend. I'm right there with her through every thoug

"Kissed by the Bay" is Hatler's third book in the series and just as fun and entertaining to read as the others.

Hatler' did an amazing job at developing the the characters in a way you fall fast for. She doesn't skip on the romance and she didn't fail in her

To Charlie privacy is everything. After her divorce to her rock star husband, Rex, it is the one thing she still wanted. She didn't want the money, the houses besides the one in her home town, or the cars. She just wants her privacy and the house on the hill. But now that she is in dire straights due to her finances she needs to do the one thing she never wanted. Open up her house to more people who do not have privacy because of the press. But this opening of her house leads to one of her actor ...more

Over the moon with " Just One Kiss"!!!!!!
I love this book!! I've read the other two books prior in the series and I am hooked! I love that the myth of kissing under a blue moon by the plaque continues throughout all the stories. I really enjoyed reading Charlie's story, if anyone deserved being kissed under the blue moon and living happily ever after it was her. There were so many turns in the story that I honestly thought that Charlie wouldn't get her happy ending. But we all know what an amazi

I loved this book, super entertaining! I loved the positive message about marriage in the book: how important is it to work to support each other while not giving up on who you both are as individuals. Charlie and Luke . I could totally see them as a couple ten years from now on the red carpet. Other than one summer when I was 8 and my babysitter got me addicted to soap operas, I have never been one to watch them. However I loved the soap opera scenes best! The ad libbing, the dramatic pauses, t ...more

Perfectly sweet

Just perfect for an afternoon of doing nothing but reading with a good cup a tea of coffee besides you. Talking about insecurities, defining oneself and the things that we want in life. And above all LOVE.

5 out of 5 stars - LOVED this novel in the Kissed by the Bay series by Susan Hatler. I never cease to be amazed by how she can write perfectly wonderful romance novels that have the perfect length, perfect romance, perfect everything. I've said it before, but she is wonderfully talented.

This book could be read as a stand-alone novel outside of the series, if you wish. I love this whole series, but if you don't have a chance to check out the other two books beforehand, I don't feel like you'd be

There is nothing like a romance that makes you smiles giving you an all over good feeling. Ms. Halter knows how to do that and more as she spins a compelling story that is clean, fun, heartbreaking, loving with plots that have a twist. For anyone looking for a clean romantic comedy Just One Kiss is for you. Charlie and her high school sweetheart left for LA to make Rex’s rock n’roll dreams come true while Charlie put her acting dreams on hold. Charlie’s dreams never did come true with Rex. Sure, he became a big rock star losing sight of who he was and who Charlie was and the promises he made her. Susan Hatler always seems to bring a big smile to this reviewer’s lips. With her strong, sassy heroines, great posse of supporting sub-characters, and handsome, swoon-worthy heroes and engaging romantic plots, I’m usually giggling and deep sighing, as well. Just One Kiss is no exception, folks. If you are looking for a quick, flirty, only mildly angsted romantic tale where the heroine has to learn to trust again, look no farther. You’ve just found it. Charlie Rockwell divorced famous rock star Sam Rockwell and has been barely scraping by. The only thing she got in the divorce was the house. She is barely scraping by and has run out of money to keep the house so she agrees to rent the house to the soap opera Just One Love.

I had a bit of déjà vu because for some reason, the plot is a bit the same with an Anime series, Anime manga and a Taiwanese drama - with a few differences of course. I'm not saying that as a bad thing, actually I loved every moment of it.

I so enjoyed the story! A lifetime ago (or so it seems) I wanted to be an actress and I can totally relate to Charlie's character. She was so endearing and so clumsy it was cute. I laughed out loud at some of her antics. I thought it was so classy how she treated her ex - without humiliating him or trying to get revenge.
Luke was so sweet and thoughtful! So kind and respectful...and patient!

Charlie has been hiding away in her mansion since her divorce. It's been a year and she is running out of money. She could sell her house, but it has become her safe haven and she doesn't want to let it go. So with limited options, she chooses what she thinks is the less of all evils and agrees to let the soap opera "Just One Love" film in her house for a month.

Just One Kiss, written by Susan Hatler, is the third book in the Kissed by the bay series. This book is about Charlie. Just have to love this character! We learned from previous books in the series that she had been married to a rock star (who she married before he was a star) but because he was caught cheating on her, she divorced him. He definitely deserved to be served! This story is written by Hatler in first person which I absolutely love because I feel like the character is telling me her ...more

Just One Kiss by Susan Hatler is another sweet romance by this author. I always enjoy visiting Blue Moon Bay and meeting up the with characters from the previous books. This book can be read as a stand alone but it does help to know the background of the other characters, too.

Ms. Hatler can be counted on to write well rounded characters that are likable and down to earth. The romance is sweet but with the complications that life will throw at couples as they begin to fall in love.
