I really like Jack Noble, these are action packed, fast paced & very entertaining. I'm so glad I found this author & this series.

A kind of middle of the series book that was slower than the others.

Frustrated me that Jack is beat up all the time while recovering from massive injuries and yet still keep going way beyond reasonable limits. He is usually spunky and that is great, but this book was unreasonable in the amount of punishment that didn’t put him in the grave, frankly.
Falling from the local girl in trouble was also not at all believable. She was a woman and not much else in her development.

Even if it is predictable, cheese, it is still fun to read. This Jack guy keeps getting g himself in all kinds d of trouble all the time.

In this episode Jack Noble is borderline whiny & ineffectual. Such a disappointment throughout the entire book. In fact, Noble continually reminds the reader he's not the man he used to be due to the beatings he took before escaping from a Russian prison.
He also has no qualms about sticking his nose into the business of those around him, regardless of the consequences to himself and/or his friends or his ability/inability to effectively solve the problem(s).
Book #3 in this series is my favorite so far ~ this one seems a step backward.

As Jack is recovering in a quiet little town in Greece he gets himself involved in an adventure that he should have kept his nose out of. As most people think he is dead he should be keeping a low profile but he inserts himself in his host's problems. The list of causalities grows and he does not keep a low profile so his problems intensify. Another thriller in this action packed series.

This shorter Jack Noble book worked better than others I've read.
I liked this a bit more than others I've read. The shorter format made for less rambling. Jack is recovering from injuries sustained in the prior story and gets drawn into local drama.

This has been a bit of a disappointment this time, we seem to have lost a real plot and there was a lot of jumping around and not really getting anywhere, there was no real danger and poor Jack has become slow and out of character he does not have his mate with him, he is out of shape and needs to get back to where he was, he needs to be working not pretending to be dead, it was the best way of moving him on, but now he treading water and not the Jack Noble I love, he needs his focus back and I have read all the books in order and suddenly out of nowhere we jump to Pierre who we left behind in another book, we hear nothing about his girl or how Bear is? he seems stuck in a rut now and I am hoping the next book will liven back up again, this book has taken me a long time to read as I got bored with it and I really hope that we are going to get Jack back on Track, he is certainly enjoying this peaceful and silent life, he needs action, let us give him some action and to get him back to being fit and happy and not sluggish and unhappy and smoking too much, come on let us get moving again.

Poor Jack Noble. He can't keep away from trouble. He's a trouble magnate. What if he was not the Superman he always is? Well, this time he's not and he STILL attracts trouble. A good story and different from Ryan's previous. Especially in that there is not as much violence, although there is enough of it. I guess if there is a complaint it is that he could have offered his own money up front. Of course, there would not have been a story I suppose. Good job, Mr. Ryan. EET WEEL KILL!

I always dislike when an author writes how great their character is with superior skills and then fails to demonstrate any. Jack Noble does dumb things. He was a trained sniper but never uses those skills. He doesn’t appreciate when others help him. He’s recovering in Greece knowing he is always in danger of discovery but didn’t think to obtain any weapons in case he needed any. He’s got as much finesse and personality as a porcupine. He smokes and drinks excessively, never seems to train and yet he’s a superior fighter against trained special forces. This story was a short read but does little to add to the series.

When Alik and Jack are hiding in Greece, the man who gave them shelter, Esau, is threatened by mobsters and his niece Isadora is kidnapped. Jack and Alik retrieve Isadora and kill the head mobster to the dismay of an Israeli agent who had infiltrated the mob. Jack shoots Chris in the shoulder so Chris’ cover is not blown. The man closing the mobsters estate finds an envelope to be mailed in the event of an untimely death of the mobster, addressed in Cyrillic. He mails it. This was a shorter than full-length book.

An ok read. Jack gets more beat up and seems to keep on going. Alik is a likable character with more common sense than Jack. I’m not sure how I feel about Jack. I have just finished reading the series about Bear. So far he is a more likable character than Jack who seems immature and a loose cannon. I read previous books a long time ago and don’t remember a Russian prison, a guard, so that was a question in my mind until the end. Jack’s money part was pretty stupid, even if one has money in excess it’s pretty far fetched to do what he did.

Like all of L.T. Ryan's, Jack Noble books, it was exciting, fast paced and at times, edge of the seat intense. Ethan Hunt of the Mission Impossible series has some serious competition when it comes to clandestine operations and adventures. L.T. Ryan is as good as it gets for high adventure and action packed story telling. I've had many hours of entertainment reading his novels and look forward to many more with Jack, Bear and the rest of the cast.

"Another Great Jack Noble Story"
This is a great story which captivated me as they always do. There is loads of action and the one novel where the main character goes through so much torture he had been left for dead. But ... we know better as Jack can survive anything. Very well written and listening to it on my Kindle it was at a very comfortable pace. Great action/suspense story which will knock your socks off! Highly recommend.

And so the style bounces again in a different direction. I am now following the series just to discover which way the twist will turn each time. Each volume buzzes busily somewhere new. I've often wished that series such as this were not constant repetitions of one plot in a slightly different location so I should be happy with the shifting characteristics of this bunch.

L.T Ryan has been my go to Author since I got my Amazon Kindle. Every time I finish a Jack Noble novel I feel like I just broke up with someone (use to feel this way about Reacher, don't worry Lee Child I still love him too!). I recommend L.T. Ryan to anyone, all the characters are great and they are real page turners!! I just started the Racheal Hatch series, and so far it is awesome too. L.T. Ryan keep em' coming! A+++++

After Jack escapes from a Russian prison, with the help of a Russian guard, he finds himself caught up in a Greek family feud. Everyone in the assassination world believes he is dead, so he spends his time hiding and recuperating from the serious beating he took in the Russian prison (see book four in the series). Jack goes up against a Greek mob, and comes out a winner, but still in hiding. ENJOY!

Wanted to try this author so picked the shortest book in the series. Probably that's why it has a simple plot. Jack Noble, an assassin now living off the grid in Greece finds himself in trouble again when his landlord's niece is kidnapped because the landlord couldn't repay a loan taken from a gangster. There were a few twists in between that will keep you hooked to the story but don't go in hoping for great characters and hardened villains. Good enough for a quick one time read.

This was my first read of a Jack Noble series thriller. I guess all the tough guys gotta be named Jack. But I like the Jack Reacher series better. I was interested in Noble, however, because I write international spy thriller novels, and this should’ve been right up my alley. But, ultimately, it wasn’t. It was written by the numbers, and the book ended with a big thud for me. The idea was to push us to the next book. Nope. I won’t be going there.

After faking his death in a Russian prison, Jack Noble is recovering from all his injuries in a small village on the island of Crete. He and his colleague Alik encounter the owner of their hotel being shaken down by the local gang and eventually the owner's niece is kidnapped in an effort to get their money.
A short book (novella?) depicting Jack's misadventures in between actual assignments. Not a particularly involved plot as a result.

Honestly I don't know why there are great reviews for this book. My rating is for the niceness of the Jack Noble character and how he can live with everyone thinking his dead and how undercover work is awesome. Other than that this book was an easy read cuz its short but the adventure wasn't worth the read. I haven't started the next book so don't know if this book has ramifications towards it but its not worth the read. That's just my opinion.

A continuation of the story from the first four books, but with a little more extreme outcome for Jack. A lot of action in various parts of the world, working to solve the puzzle of who is behind the desire to end the country, and the need to stay alive all keep this book moving. A number of interpersonal items affect Jack and make life more challenging for him and those he cares about both near and far.

Jack was supposed to be resting and healing and basically doing nothing while the rest of the world thinks he is dead. Yeah right! When some locals start making trouble for the owners of where he is staying Jack just can't leave things alone and embarks on another fast paced action adventure to put right the wrongs.

Great book! Never know what will happen til it does.
Somehow I missed Dead in Greece, but I had read all of Jack Noble series. I was rereading from book 1, and they read like it was the first time. Now I do have them all in my Kindle library and will continue reading the rest including Bear's stories. Love them all!!!

AN INTRIGUING STORY
A very interesting story about secrets and lies centered around an old man's tale and two men who try to help him. A suspenseful read. Just when the reader thinks something said was true; the next few pages reveal the lies and hidden stories. The end result is an ending that will leave a reader slightly confused; but none the least entertained.
