This is the 4th and last book in the Lisa Clark detective series. Lisa is an international detective but the books come off more as spy stories. They are very exciting. Books #1 and #2 mostly feature Lisa's 40 something year-old partner Jake Jefferson but in books #3 and #4 Lisa is front and center the main character.

The book begins with a secret midnight meeting of Lisa with a famous actor in the North Sea. He asks her to search for his step-daughter, Linda, who frequently changes her name. He

Amelia Elizabeth Walden was born January 15, 1909 in New York City, and died in 2002. After graduating from Columbia University in 1934, she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, also in New York. From 1935 to 1945 she taught English and Dramatics at Norwalk High School, Norwalk, Connecticut. In 1946 Miss Walden married John William Harmon.
