Merried is book five in the Misfit Brides series by Jamie Farrell. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by the author. I need to start this review by stating the fact that I read romance books, lots and lots of romance books. Sometimes they all tend to run together. Then, you come across that one that just stops you in your tracks. This book was sweet, quirky, unique, heart breaking, sexy, and so much more. I didn’t just love this book, I LOVED this book!

Loved this! Very funny, with some great secondary characters who are both quirky and treated with affection (LOVE the mom!). But also very heartwarming. The author has a nice way of capturing in a phrase or paragraph important emotional truths. Sweet and lighthearted, but not superficial, if that makes sense. Excellent comfort read. I definitely plan to read the rest of the series now!

MERRIED, the 5th book in Jamie Farrell's Misfit Brides of Bliss series is Max Gregory's story. Max's family owns the With This Ring jewelry store in Bliss. Max who found the Golden Bouquet and has been cursed with seven years of bad luck in love. Of course, Max says, Who cares if all his girlfriends leave him, that's just life... not a curse. Max doesn't believe in curses.

Merry Silver was the last woman to leave Max. Not because he's cursed, but because she's cursed with a family that is troubl

I think this is my favourite Misfit Brides book. I love Merry and Max and really enjoyed their story. It made me cry in so many places but it also make me laugh. Max and his curse were no match for Merry. Merry has been keeping secrets here whole life and really needed to find Max so that she could finally be herself and not worry about keeping secrets. Weddings in Bliss are always fun. The people in Bliss look out for each other and while everyone is upset that Merry hurt Max when she left last ...more

Ms. Farrell is one of my go to authors when one of her books comes out I am usually begging to review it. She bring such humor, love to her characters she hooks you from the first page with her wonderful writing talent. With this addition to the Misfit series poor Merry cannot get a break from her famous jewel thief father to her mother going through husband like there is no bodies business. This Romantic Comedy Touches the Child in Us All

Max and Merry are strong-willed, yet vulnerable just under the surface. I loved that the quirky characters Merry wrote about kept up a running commentary in her brain as she worked through daily challenges. But even better, they also began speaking to Max as he got to know them while reading the stories to his niece and nephews. There were funny laugh out loud moments, and heartbreakingly sad moments, all which kept me reading late into the night.

I'm a huge fan of Jamie Farrell's books and find myself falling more and more in love with her characters in each book. When I saw Merried was going to be a second change romance between Max and Merry, I was over the moon to read it.

Merried is every bit as laugh out loud funny as the first 4 books in the Misfit Brides series. It also pulled so many emotions from me as I watched Merry struggle with her choices to either be near Max or stay away, and to try and to protect everyone as she has her e

A Jamie Farrell book is like a treasured Hallmark Christmas movie that you watch every year so you can feel the magic in your heart all over again. I buy every book with Jamie's name on it so I can curl up and travel back to her magical town of Bliss. Merried is a story of heartache, betrayal and second chances. There is heart in every word on every page. Ms. Farrell has written a story of devotion. Love of family has landed Merry in some sticky situations. It's brought her the love of her life in Max, but family has cost her just as much. With a father that is addicted to living on the edge and a mother who needs to be the center of attention, childhood was unpredictable. Adulthood is even more complicated. Ahhhhhhh I did not want this book to end! There were parts throughout that I wanted to skip ahead so badly because I just had to know, but I resisted and I am so happy I did.

Merried brings us back to the magical town of Bliss where happily-ever-after awaits everyone. But will Max and Merry get their happily ever after?

I love second chances story and this is a beautiful second chances story. I was captivated throughout the story and was left wanting more. Can't wait to read more of Ms Farrell's stories, especially

Quick Thoughts: This wasn't my favorite in the series but it was still a ton of fun. I think it is because I wasn't overly attached to Max going into the story. By the end though I was really wrapped up in his and Merry's relationship. In an odd winding road kind of way they were perfect for each other. I think they both needed to see (in different

Victoria Silver and Nicholas Raymond are the parents of Meredith Silver. Meredith is known as Merry and feels her life is doomed when it comes to love.
Victoria has been married numerous times and Nicholas is a jewel thief. It's no wonder Merry doesn't think she'll ever get her happy.
But when she meets Max Gregory, she doesn't know straight off that his family are jewellers, and that they own 'With This Ring' in the town of Bliss.
Her disappearance over a year ago leaves Max scratching his head wh

The characters eventually grew on me... 3/4ths of the way through the book. Although I admit some items made me laugh I wasn't a fan of the book overall. I am not big into romance novels so that could be a big part of it! I don't like the cover, the title, the font of the title, the font of the chapter titles, and the way it was formatted. Yuck. The end did make me tear up with all the "swoon-worthy" comments from Max (but that's most likely because I just went through a break up, sucker).

I feel that in some book series that happens. I have loved all of her books and they keep getting better!

I just finished this one and I loved it! I'm a sucker for a fun heist story, so this story is easily my favorite in the Misfit Brides series. I found Merry to be very relatable. I loved the way she talked to her characters, and I liked how Phoebe Moon books showed up in unexpected places when we get Max's point of view. Overall, this one was so much fun to read!

MERRIED by Jamie Farrell is an enjoyable, flirty contemporary romance with a dash of mystery and suspense thrown in. Farrell's ability to create original and unique characters in the same series is what has me coming back for more with each book. I was very excited that there is a bit of mystery in the plot as well.

Max and Merry are two of my favorite characters in this series. They are perfect for each other. The chemistry is palpabale. Even when she fought it all the way for what she believed

Soooo, I'm a huge Jamie Farrell fan, her books are hysterical, romantic in a very unusal way, there's always a message hidden within the whole story, and damned if the woman doesn't make me cry at the end of every book, if not throughout the whole darn thing.

We've all been waiting for this book to finally come out, so when I got my hot little hands on it I was beside myself with happiness. Once I dug in, I found myself confused in the beginning. Jamie Farrell is known for her quirky characters,

Merried, is the fifth book in the Misfit Brides Series, and can easily be read as a standalone. Meredith Silver aka Merry is in Bliss, Illinois for her mother's seventh wedding. Merry is set on running away to France, to escape her father's reach. Her father is a jewel thief, he lives for the adrenaline rush of his heists, and uses his particular skill set as an excuse to atone any and every wrong he feels has been made in Merry's direction.

There is literally not one thing that I didn't like about this book. Merry and Max, Phoebe Moon and Zachary Diggory, the Mrs. Clause Diamond and of course the town of Bliss and all of its quirky townspeople made this story unputdownable.

While this book read in the familiar, fun & quirky style I'm used to from a Jamie Farrell book, it also felt like something new and different.

Revisiting the town of Bliss we get to see some of our favorite characters and witness from an outsiders perspective
