The Prince and the Midwife (The Hollywood Hills Clinic Book 6) – by Robin Gianna
Robin Gianna is an excellent author. She knows how to write a book that will make you laugh, make you enjoy, make you cry and all the feelings in between.
Gabriella Cain was the labor suite department head in the prestige The Hollywood Hills Clinic. James Rothsberg started this clinic. It is where Hollywood biggest celebrities can come and know they will have what they really want in everything from the right water they want to chef meals. They will also get the most top notched medical care.
Gabriella was cleaning the labor and delivery suite just after a long twin delivery when Cameron Fontaine was brought in by the hospital’s uniformed EMT’s. She was not due for months and yet here having pains. After exam Gabby found her to be dilated two centimeters. Hopefully Gabby could administer drugs to prevent delivery at this early stage of only thirty two weeks.
Cameron’s own doctor is not available and a visiting Dr. will come in to see her. He is Dr. Rafael Moreno, who is a world renowned OB and also a Prince.
This starts the story that leads to the delivery of Cameron’s premature baby. Plus other delivers, plus the circumstances that are throwing Gabby and Rafael together. He did not make a good impression on Gabby to start with but as feisty as she is she could tell him it and make him realize that was not going to work. They attend a charity ball together at the suggestion of others. Rafael is basically hiding out from the press to avoid the stories that have been centered on him and “women”. That had made his family be very upset about. He is the second in line prince and so he is not needed in his homeland all the time. He feels his parents are also not pleased that he is a doctor despite the honor of the position.
Gabriella has a very painful past and could she find a fairly end with the Prince Rafael?
With this amount of information you should find the story as tantalizing as it is. Trust me you will be happy you added it to your reading list and find yourself like I was. Not able to put it down and experience several feelings throughout the book.

Robin Gianna is a fantastic storyteller who creates the most beautiful medical romances that feature three-dimensional characters who are flawed but likable. The Prince and the Midwife is flirty, sexy, dramatic and all out entertaining. The characters garnered my attention from page one. Readers are definitely in for one heck of a medical treat! Gabriella Cain loves her job being midwife to celebrity moms. But when Dr Rafael Moreno—a real life prince— stalks into her life things turn topsy turvy. Rafe breaks down the barrier she’d built around her, making her vulnerable. Could Gabriella risk falling for prince charming even as dark clouds of her past linger over her head? Read on and fall in love with characters whose stories will transport you into their magically fictional worlds!

In Book 5 of The Hollywood Hills Clinic series, Robin Gianna takes us on a discovery of love when you least expect it, and how a heart of gold can find happiness again after loss.

Dr. Rafael Moreno may be a close friend of the higher ups in The Hollywood Hills Clinic, and he may even be royalty, but that doesn't stop midwife Gabriella Cain from fuming when he comes in and takes over her department! Who does this arrogant man think he is?

As they work side-by-side with a high profile patient, the sparks fly between the Prince and the midwife and it isn't long before they start to fall for each other! Will they get their happily ever after after secrets are exposed?

Another lovely story by Robin Gianna who always manages to weave a beautiful love story through moving medical drama.

Gabriella Cain is the head midwife at Hollywood Hills Clinic and is absolutely mortified when Dr-who-does-he-think-he-is-Raphael Moreno saunters into the delivery room and shoots her down every possible way in front of a VIP patient. Just because he's a prince - doesn't make him God of delivery rooms!!! Gabby has worked her way up from the bottom and deserves her post and it doesn't take long for Rafe to figure out he's wrong. Not only is he wrong but he very quickly realises Gabby is absolutely beautiful to him but he's in NYC to hide out and lay low and not cause paparazzi drama for himself or anyone surrounding him.

A super super awesome edition to this wonderful series of which at this stage I've only read two books but I love that Robin has eluded to James and Mila further and I liked Rafe and Gabby had to attend the ball mentioned in other books and I like the connections that are touched on but still make this book absolutely fine to read as a stand alone book.

Filled with many medical drama's around delivering babies kept me entertained and wowed at the same time. It made me sad and teary when Gabby's past was revealed and it made me curious about Rafe's history and whether he could step up to the plate and be able to be who he wants to be along with what Gabby needs him to be.

Really really enjoyed.

"The Prince And The Midwife (The Hollywood Hills Clinic)" by Robin Gianna is the continuing medical romance that takes place in or around the Hollywood Hills Clinic. It can be read as part of the series, but Robin Gianna does a wonderful job in her description of the setting and the characters that the reader will not have a problem keeping up with what is going on.

Gabriella Cain, midwife, and Dr. Rafael Moreno first meeting is less than stellar. Gabby just had a messy birth delivering twins and has yet to clean the department up when Rafael shows up as Cameron Fontaine was brought in with labor pains too early in her pregnancy. He assumes that she isn't qualified to do her job. There is quite a bit going on with both of them in their personal, and past lives. They need to overcome this in order to move forward.

The Prince and the Midwife by Robin Gianna is a lovely medical romance about a young woman with emotional scars and a man with misconceptions about love. The story describes how these two people heal each other and find love together.

Sparks fly between the two characters, Gabby and Rafael. At first they just don’t see eye to eye, but after getting to know one another, sparks fly for a completely different reason!

I truly enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anybody who likes medical romances. The story was emotional yet uplifting at the same time. I wasn’t ready for it to end and can’t wait for the next book in the Hollywood Hills Clinic series. You won’t be disappointed with this one!

If they have to mention one more time the name of their clinic...........................................................very pretentious (holylwood hills clinic) like we get it already.
t's a bit dramatic this book......every page she has to talk about her struggles in her past life. like calm down. no one thinks about this stuff every day or every second.
Another issue i have with this book is when her "secret" is out, it was soooo unrealistic the way the reporter talked about her. everything was unrealistic about this book, to the convos between the characters, to the relationships and to the story line.
not sure if i could recommend this book but its an easy read i guess

MS Gianna writes stories that will draw you in with their sensuality and emotion and this one was a beauty a Prince for a hero and a beautiful and vulnerable heroine who is just so caring and one of the best midwives sit back and enjoy this one, this is the fifth book in The Hollywood Hills Clinic Series and it is a fabulous series.

Gabriella Cain is the head midwife at the exclusive Hollywood Hills Clinic in Los Angeles she loves her job she is caring and her patients and the other staff think the world of her but she is hiding a secret that she keeps to herself and is determined to keep it that way she does not want a relationship and throws herself into her work. That might change though when Hollywood actress Cameron Fontaine is bought into the hospital in labour and in walks a new doctor an arrogant one Dr Rafael Moreno a Prince as well who is friends with the owner of the clinic James Rothsberg he will push a few of Gabby's buttons I loved the sparks that flew on their first meeting.

Dr Rafael Moreno is royalty and has come to LA to hide out and stay out of the headlines keep a low profile after his parents push him to do so after a not very good scandal involving another woman yes he feels hard done by, by his parents after choosing to be a Doctor but he is good at his job and loves it. He plans on never marrying that is not the life for him he has seen too many loveless marriages. So when His friend James asks him to help out at the clinic he is more than happy to but is his life about to change when he meets the feisty midwife Gabby?

I loved this story from start to finish the sparks and sensual pull that fires between these two beautiful people will have you smiling cheering them on and shedding a few tears a beautifully written emotional journey that brings both Gabby and Rafael to the most wonderful HEA gets them both to open up come to terms with their pasts and allow them to move onto a future filled with love and happiness. Yes this is a story that I highly recommend it was an absolute joy to read.

Put together two headstrong Doctors ,a great medical romance that has just enough medical and lots of romance and you have a great book. Dr. Rafael Moreno is an OB/GYN working in the Hollywood Hills Clinic and he meets up with Dr. Gabriella Cain who is a midwife in charge in OB/GYN. Gabriella has a secret past and it is one of the reasons she is so intense about the deliveries at Hollywood Hills Clinic. Rafael Moreno is a confident doctor but is also a prince and his family is concerned as everywhere he goes the press follows and usually brings bad press has combined medical, family issues, a past for both of them which make this story one that you will not want to stop reading. Sometimes we find what we want and the redemption for what we thought we did wrong unexpectedly and these two find just what they need in each other. Loved it and enjoyed the medical and especially the romance that grows between these two people. Rafael was truly a prince in more ways than one. I give it 5 stars for the lovely story and the smile I had at the end.

A 4.5 for me

It is Gabriella's domain as a midwife but she is ready to let in Dr Rafael because he is an obstetrician.

He is only brought in due to complexities in a case but he decides to take over while he challenges her authority and questions her knowledge and skills.

With all the hard work Gabriella has put in, she is not ready to accept what Rafael is dishing out and gives as good as she gets.

Circumstances have them spending too much time together as they work on special cases (Not that all mothers and babies aren't special) and they get to see the real person. Added to that the sizzle of chemistry between rings about an emotional explosion binding them forever together.

Good characters and a perfectly woven story.

A pretty basic series romance. The hero spends alot of time wanting to avoid committment. So his "I am in love "seemed a little off. Maybe too quick of a turn around.
