A Dog's Life
When Harvey stops by Sabrina's house with Macdougal, the dog he's pet-sitting, he finds Sabrina elbow-deep in brownie batter. She's trying to bake like a normal teenager -- without using her powers. But with some of her ingredients missing and her electric mixer on the blink, Sabrina decides to conjure up a little magical help. Suddenly, Sabrina's mixing spell goes horribly haywire, bouncing into the dining room and zapping Harvey and Macdougal. Now Harvey's in canine chaos and his voice is coming out of the golden retriever's drooling jaws! With the Quizmaster on her case and her best friend chasing cats, Sabrina's in the doghouse -- unless she can find the trick that will get rid of Harvey's dog days for good!

Tror egentligen bästa sättet att läsa dessa böckerna är att se serien samtidigt, dock är jag efter i serien (läser snabbare än jag tittar) och är så förvirrad över när Sabrina och Harvey gjorde slut.

Sabrina accidentally makes Harvey switch bodies with a dog.
Cute, fun and innocent nostalgic story. Definitely very much fits the TV show.

For me this was one of the more average Sabrina books I’d read. It seemed like an easily created storyline that had partially already been done with two people/ animals switching bodies. It also spoke of the quiz master as if we should know who he was but he hadn’t yet been introduced in the books until this one .

How can you not love Sabrina? Is this a work of literary genius? No, but it is a fun book for any pre-teen!

What should've been an easy-read, wasn't so easy after all.
I think the problem lied with the start and the ending, both seemed unnatural, and extremely different to what I was expecting, and at times I felt that Cathy East Dubowski hadn't quite got the characterisation down that well.
As for Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda... Well their excuses for not being around and not being in the book was repetitions from previous books.
The storyline also became a bit on the complicated side and with many spelling and grammatical errors, I kind of made up my own sentences as they were much more clearer than the ones that were used.
However once the middle of the story starts, you get into it more, and I wasn't sure why the reversal spell wasn't working and nor was Sabrina. Even with the helpful hints, Sabrina worked it out before I did.
Overall a cute little story but it could definitely do with some improvements. I hope this isn't the start of the downfall of this series, as I love dipping into these books every now and again and relive my childhood tv series.

I loved all of the Sabrina tales full of magic. Every story was a different adventure and some new and exciting challenge to overcome. These books made me want to have magical powers too but the ending results were hilarious.

I found quite a few of these Sabrina books at Half Price Books, and I'm looking forward to getting to read them all soon.
This was a cute book, but I don't think the author captured Harvey very well (in either form). Something just seemed off with his character.

I used to love this T.V. show, along with the books.. now I don't care for both much anymore.

I don't really like Harvey as a character. Doug was much more funny even of he is a dog.

Very simple. Good for lower readers.
