Great book on description!

I have always struggled with description in my writing. I tend to be a bit too minimalist. This book has really helped me see how I can use description to enhance my story. I feel like I understand it now, after just this one short book. Can’t wait to read more in this series.

interesting and useful read

Another wonderful writing book by Marcy Kennedy, my go to author when I need help with a particular area of my writing. Her explanations are so easy to understand and the use of examples spell it out for you so you know exactly what she means. Marcy’s writer’s guides are never dry or boring like others I’ve attempted to tackle. They are clear, concise, and super useful.

Good reference.

This is a good reference with a handy worksheet that you can use over and over until the items contained in it become habits. I know I'll be using it for some time until I get the 13 steeps down pat when editing.
