“Getting involved in their Pack won’t make you a hero, Luke— it’ll make you a casualty.”

I went into this book not knowing what to expect, but I have to say, it definitely exceeded my expectations !

The book begins with Raven running from her pack filled with men who took what wanted and had her and her sister mate with many of them. It's on the road that she meets Luke. Luke is from an enemy pack and immediately thinks Raven is setting him up. He also gave up trying to find a mate, that

At last it is Luke's turn! Luke was the only unmated member of his pack and was feeling something of a misfit because of it. He took a job as head horse trainer on a ranch outside Sedona, Arizona and certainly didn't anticipate the change in his life endeavouring to rescue a damsel in distress on his way into town. The damsel is Raven Wood, a feisty young lady who had been bitten and turned against her will by members of the Sedona Pack. She was trying to escape from that pack when Luke discover ...more

Luke, the only unmated male left in his pack, travels to Sedona for a job working with horses, his specialty. Though he loves and misses his family and packmates, being the only single man left was starting to hurt. He wanted to expand his life, his search area for her.

Raven, bitten against her will, is being abused and was forced to "mate" with two brothers. Though she changed her sister, Isabelle, as she didn't want to be without her, she's still alone, trapped in a pack with an alpha, Caldwel

'Wolf Moon' by Lisa Kessler is book Seven in the "Moon" series. This is the story of Raven Wood and Luke Reynolds. This can be a standalone book if you haven't read the others. Raven was just a regular women in Sedona and dating a man who turned out to be a wolf in the Sedona Pack. He bit her to make her a pack member as the Sedona Pack Alpha is trying to build up his pack. There Raven and now her sister are suffering at the packs hands. Until she thinks to escape and try to get help but her car ...more

Another great book in the moon series to add to our bookshelf. Even if you have not read the other books you can still enjoy this one but, I highly recommend the entire series.

Luke is the last this pack without a mate and decides to move and start a new position. This is where he meets Raven who belongs to the local pack and things are not as they should be. In order to save her he gets involved in their pack without knowing Nero is in play.

The book moves quickly and smoothly with lots of acti

Wow! Talk about crazy alpha in a bad way…

Raven has been turned into a werewolf without her consent and is now “part” of the Sedona Pack. In this case being “a part of” means you’re either an outright prisoner or they are using extortion to make you stay. Desperate to escape from the crazies, Raven decides to make a run for it and go to the Reno Pack and ask for their assistance. Only she runs out of gas on the highway not so far from the city. When a lone c

An exciting addition to Lisa’s highly entertaining Moon series!

“There is no one in the world I would rather be stuck with in this snake pit of a Pack than you.”

Another smile crept up on me as I leaned in. “You really know how to sweep a girl off her feet.”

His lips curved as he came closer, stealing my breath. “You’re the only girl I care to sweep.”

“Lucky me…” My words faded as his mouth met mine.

Lisa Kessler’s Moon series fans have waited a long time for Luke's story. The great news is that it’s

Genre:  romance,

I’d read and enjoyed the first five books in this series, but somehow missed book six...still, these can be read as standalone stories so that didn’t matter.

There is an overall story arc to the series with the Nero connection, but that seems to have taken a real backseat in this book. There are references to Nero and the people within it, but its a very minor part of the book. I’d have liked to see more Nero involveme

On her way from Sedona, Arizona to Reno, Nevada, to escape her pack, Raven Wood encounters literally a lone wolf. He is Luke Reynolds, the twin of rock star Logan Reynolds, of Logan and the Howlers, both are from Reno. Luke is in Sedona to work as head horse trainer at Valley Farms. The Sedona Caldwell pack is determined to wipe the Reno pack, led by Allen Caldwell, and they have Raven’s sister, Isabelle. Luke thinks Raven’s a ruse to trap him, until she tells what happened to her. Raven was bit ...more

I sure did wait patiently for this one in this series. Sometimes that is hard to do but for this author I will. This one is one that will most certainly keep you on edge with what is what. Luke is yet to have found his mate so he search widens. When he helps Raven he knows but there are lots of obstacles. She is not in a good place but see how this author takes us on what will go on. This author will give you plenty of drama along the way with the excitement at times almost explosive. Bit of a s ...more

I absolutely LOVED this series. I am a new fan of Lisa Kessler. I started last week with Moonlight and read the first 6 books in the series one right after the other. They good, fast paced, with a good multiple book story arch and great character development. It's fated mates without the instant love. It's danger and adversary without the corny. A different take on werewolves and were-jaguars than a lot of the paranormal books out there. I had some minor issues wit

Lisa Kessler is a new to me author and I'm so bummed that I haven't read her books before. Now, I have to go back and read ALL the other books in this series! As a firm believer in FATE, I love reading stories about soul mates and that's exactly what Luke and Raven are. They have hot chemistry together and some pretty spicy but sweet sex scenes. I only wished that there was an epilogue because I love to read just a bit more happy endings. I'm also hoping that Ms. Kessler will continue her series ...more

I received an advance readers copy of this book from the author for an honest review. This was the first book I have read by Lisa Kessler and I was pleasantly surprised. As anyone who knows me knows I love Paranormal romance and tend to read way to many of them. With a thunderstorm heading my way tonight I decided to pull this book up on my kindle to read and planned on a lovely evening listening to the storm pass by and reading. I was quickly pulled into the story and even though this is the se ...more

Just loved this book! I’ve been waiting to see what would happen to Luke and Lisa Kessler did not disappoint. Like the other books in the series there is a lot of heart, humor, and heat, but this one brings a darker, edgier tone as Luke must deal with an evil, twisted pack that holds his future in its hands.

Luke…*sigh*…all he wants is to find his mate. He’s seen what finding a mate can bring and he wants to find his own happy ever after. He’s also seen what not finding a mate can do to a wolf –

This is not the last Wolf Pack book, but it is the last book about a member of the pack itself and knowing that saddens me. In this book we get to know Luke, a loner compared with the rest of his Pack who moves away to Arizona to get a change of scenery, which is where he meets Raven, an unwillingly turned werewolf escaping an abusive pack, trying to also rescue her werewolf sister, Isabelle.

Then he meets Raven. The frightened woman on the side of the road running from something frightening becomes his everything with a single sniff. She's light and happiness and good times rolled into one beautiful body. He's found his forever, finally

This was my first book from this series, but I think diving in here was just fine. The story was easy to follow and gave me lots of good intro along the way.

Luke is the last unmated member of his pack. To try to avoid the constant reminder, he set off on his own to find himself (sort of). While out and about one day, he couldn't help stopping to offer assistance to a woman in a broken down van. Raven was forcibly turned into a werewolf by her then boyfriend now abuser. Inducted into a pack forme

Lisa has knocked another great one out of the park. Her Moon Series is filled with tension, love, good and evil, making you cheer for the good guys, and boo for the bad guys.

Wolf Moon is the story of Raven and Luke and their search for love while fighting Allen Caldwell and his werewolves. Will they find someone to help them fight Caldwell, or do it on their own?

Great fun - keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I'll admit I was a little bit leery about picking up this book to read, I figured since it was so far into the series that I would be inundated with a bunch of characters that had already been established and it would be next to impossible to follow. I was super wrong, this book is easily a standalone, yes there were characters from the other books in this one, but they were truly support characters, and I appreciated that the focus was mostly on our two main characters.

“I took off the glasses to be sure Raven could see my eyes. “That crazy moment when we touched and my wolf howled…” A smile tugged at the corner of my mouth. “You brought me to life, Raven. And if I die today, I’d have no regrets.” I swallowed hard. “For once in my life…I’m whole. You gave that to me.” 23 likes
“So I could touch some stranger and my wolf would decide he’s ‘the one’?” I shuddered at the thought. “What if I hate him?”

Luke laughed. Deep and warm.

He looked my way. “You won’t hate him. I’ve seen enough of my packmates find the other half of their soul. It’s not always a smooth process, but fate hasn’t messed up even once.” He sobered, his eyes searching mine. “Whoever he is, he’s lucky, and he doesn’t even know it yet.”
