In this book we see more about Lia and Cav's romance and his meeting her parents. There was more emotional stress compared to the stress of being hunted by drug lords and minions. Here we see more what her parents are wanting for her and how they feel about him. Will he pass the parent test? And what about where they are going to live? Will her parents accept this hard SEAL and incorporate him into her family lives? I listened to this on Audio and enjoyed the short novella.

I wondered what had happened to Lia and Cav. I knew from Nowhere to Hide we would see Lia and Cav again because I could sense Lindsay was not finished with them…yet. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The novella is a continuation of Nowhere To Hide by Lindsay McKenna. It’s not that you have to read Nowhere To Hide to enjoy this novella however it was for me, and it was a chance to read more about Cav and Lia. I should say that these two captured my heart at the start of the Delos series so I was anxious to catch up with them. Annnnnnnnnd I wanted to steal Cav away and just shower him with hugs. This story is all about the love

This novella picked up almost where book 1 of the Delos Series (Nowhere to Hide) left off. I love that the author created the opportunity to continue Lia and Cav's story, observing their relationship grow and deepen. This author has a gift for painting word pictures. You observed the story unfolding and share both Lia's and Cav's experience of the unfolding events. I have a new bookboy friend and its Cav...what a fierce, strong, intutive and deeply loving man! Lia emerges from her cacoon and spr

I've lived six lives in one and it all shows up in the books I write, one way or another.
I was always a risk taker and broke mustangs at thirteen years old in Oregon. I learn to break them with love, not threat or pain.
At 17 years old, I picked night-crawlers (worms) out in our Oregon orchards from 9pm to midnight, every night. I earned enough money to buy my school clothes and book. I also plunk ...more
