The Book Junkie Reads . . .
Sweet,clean, organic fun with food
Marguerite Chance loves the purity of nature and the organic life she had cultivated for herself. She finds that she has a connection to one sex-on-legs Alexie. He happens to be chef with a food truck and the most amazing Greek food. He also happens to be a Greek god come to life and she has no chance with him. Marguerite makes the same mistake as most. She assumes that Alexie uses his looks to get what he wants. Alexie wants nothing more than to get to know M

This one was a little more melodramatic than the one I read previously. Which was book 2 about Iris and Geoff.

Marguerite and Alex did have a sweet romance but on top of it feeling completely rushed it also didn't feel thoroughly hashed out either. They had one main interaction then the next time they met up they started having sex and were in love. Then a big stupid misunderstanding happened and they made up shortly after.

There was no build up to their romance. She started dating guys online fo

Short and doesn't really show them much at all in a relationship. It was: They slept together, fought, got back together. I would have liked to have read about their relationship. I normally give 3's to books I like that are good and I enjoyed, but I didn't feel this deserved a 2 even with missing time in the relationship that really needa to be there. Book has potential, but think the author should go back and write more about their actual relationship period and span it over a couple of months ...more

Once burnt, twice shy. Marguerite is very attracted to handsome Alexei. In addition, they share interests in food and the produce used to create it. Alexei is tired of women who only see his shell and don't care about the person. Can she overcome her trust issues?

Nancy Warren writes the sweetest stories. I can’t wait for the next one. The Chance family just keep finding their perfect mates.

Cute easy novella, too fast paced to develop either character, but still left me smiling!

Another great book about the Chance Family. Marguerite & Alexei have great chemistry together. Both are passionate about food, Marguerite growing it and Alexei cooking it. Things between them sizzle!!

I have never read any of the “Take a Chance” series by Nancy Warren before but now I would love to read more of her books!
The description of this book is what made me want to read it and it did not let me down. Smexy love, growing and cooking organic food, family what more could one want from an emotion driven stirring romance story? ☺
Marguerite Chance, what a gorgeous name! A woman who owns her own organic fruit and vegetable farm, drinks herbal teas, of course owns a cat, mellow, and caring. I

3.5 Stars!

I was in the mood for a cleaner read when I noticed the book blurb from Love to Go, by Nancy Warren. I have been a fan of Ms. Warren's books for quite some time, and this one was fun, sweet and quite original. Each book focuses on a member of the huge Chance family and this time Marguerite Chance is in the hot seat. This is the fifth book in the Take A Chance series and it can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Marguerite Chance traveled the world before settling down in her small hometown of

Take a Chance Series Book Five
Marguerite Chance had been burned by a good-looking guy once. No way was she going to allow it to happen again. But oh my, Alexei was more beautiful than any man she'd ever met. She delivered her organic grown produce to her clients herself at least once a month to see how they were doing. Alexei's Greek was her favorite stop. But she knew a man like him couldn't be happy with only one woman. Especially not someone as drab looking as she wa

I simply adored Nancy Warren’s Wedding Dress Series so I was excited to see that she had another series going. I am really not sure how I missed this one since Love to Go, Take a Chance is Book 5. Not having read the first four by no means bothered my enjoyment of Marguerite and Alexei’s story. However, be forewarned it did make me want to go back and read the others. What is even better about this is that the prequel (her parents story) and book one were free today. Woohoo.

Marguerite’s story fi

My least favorite of the Chance books so far. It wasn't bad, but it was kind of...meh.

Basically, I wasn't a big fan of Marguerite. I wanted to like her, but I felt like this book didn't do much to actually develop her well. It went too fast, with not a lot of detail to invest me in the story. And Marguerite was so down on herself throughout the book that I had trouble liking her.

I felt like the book would have done better to explore Marguerite dating a bit before she got with Alexei. Oh. and I

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for a honest review.

This is a very sweet and light and quick story between Marguerite and Alexei, one is a organic farmer and the other a food truck owner, I like how Marguerite is the organic farmer. Overall this was a good read, I did get a bit annoyed with Marguerite, who was always bringing up her past as a reasons why she and Alexei wouldn't work. I loved Alexei and thought he was perfect for Marguerite, I wish the author would write longer book

This is a sweet, light hearted romance with characters you will fall in love with. I have not read a y of the previous books in this series but that did not in any way diminish my enjoyment or understanding of the story. This story has a very interesting this one, a man isn't taken seriously because of his good looks. That is until he meets Marguerite. What follows is a delightful story you won't want to miss.

3.5 stars = I liked it. I liked everything about this except for the 'Big misunderstanding' - she definitely needed to grovel more. The most charming part of these books are the extended family - I love all the siblings and the parents too.
