Trent Mr. Perfect-Has-Everyone-Fooled Carrington.
He’s the star quarterback, university scholar, and happens to be the sexiest man I’ve ever seen. ★★★★ 1/2! Kicked (stand-alone). College football, first loves & second chances with a Girl Kicker & a star Quarterback!

“My cock was hard enough to fuck a hole through a sheet of plywood.”

Kicked (stand-alone) opens up to student and third-string kicker Cordelia Elaine Baxter, Cordy becoming the new kicker for her college football team.

Star quarterback, student and heir Trent McKinley Carrington becomes Cordy’s biggest crusader offering to coach her while relentlessly tryi

This is a second chance love story. Trent walked away from Cordy and while I'm not a fan of his reasons, I can see why he did it. His feelings for her never changed and now that he's got his life better sorted and an opportunity with her on the same team, he's not going to let her get away. The plot was good overall but I struggled in the beginning to connect to the story. It starts off a little slow. I honestly wasn't sure I was going to end up liking it. It got really interesting when Trent an ...more
This book is not what I've expected. It's definitely a pleasant surprise, that's for sure!

In general I really liked it. It's a fun read where two young people missed their first chance at their happiness but luckily fate gives them another chance at finding just that together. This is not a short read and I enjoyed that, since we do get to see what happened in their past that led them to this point in their lives and throuout their journey we see them grow, struggle, forgive, fight and love tog

Cordelia (Cordy) Baxter's first love was soccer but desperate time called for desperate measure and landed her on the football field instead. Coming from a poor family, she needed the partial football scholarship even just as decorations. But luck was not on her side and she risked losing her scholarship unless she made the team as first string player.

Trent Carrington was the star quarterback of the team. Two years prior he bro

Overall Opinion: This was enjoyable for what it was. Is it going on my favorites list? No. It definitely had a similar feel of one of my favorites, Sweet Home, with the (view spoiler) -- but it also had a lot of differences. It was kind of fun having the h being on the team with the H, so I appreciate the author stepping out of the box with

I have to start off by saying that prior to reading Kicked, I'd completely misjudged what this book was going to be like. I half expected one of the dime a dozen athlete/step brother/billionaire romances that overrun my kindle unlimited feed. What I got instead was a well written and thoughtful story that managed to completely surprise me.

For the millionth time, I cursed myself for ruining things with her two years ago. But I could fix it. I would do anything in my power to make

Cordelia “Cordy” Baxter is a college student that comes from a working class coalmining town. Having always played soccer, and due to Title 9 criticism, Cordy secures a spot as a Kicker on the football team earning her a partial athletic scholarship. Being on the team isn’t easy since she is known mostly as the “Mav” but it’s also difficult because she is constantly around the one person she wishes to erase from her heart.

KICKED by Celia Aaron was a quick, sweet second chance sports romance. If you are like me and is a BIG BIG fan of football, then you are in for a treat because Ms. Aaron has given her readers a love story that weaves football, passion, and forgiveness.

Trent Carrington has it all from the looks, money, and confidence. He is Mr. Quarterback that can go pro. But one thing Trent doesn’t have is the girl that he let get away. Or more prec

I absolutely loved the romance in this one! Cordy & Trent were such a cute couple, and I really enjoyed them finding their way back to one another. I especially liked that we got glimpses of the past. My main problem with second chance romance is a disconnect to the couple because I didn't get to see the beginning of the relationship. I think this one worked so well because a) we did get those snippets of the past, and b) their relationship was very fresh when it ended, so there was still a lot

This is quite a treat for true football fans and one helluva second chance romance!!!

I loved this story. Period.

2. I love badass, sassy yet sensible, passionate and vulnerable heroines

I'm sad I didn't like this as much as I thought I would. It's a second chance romance with a H who stayed celibate for 2 years so I was sure I would love it. It was good but had some parts I didn't like. The H was great though! He was doing everything in his power to get back with the h and realized how big of a mistake he made 2 years ago.

I got so damn annoyed with the drama with her guy best friend who was supposedly in "love" with her. He was such a big whore and would bring his conquests ar

This one has too much description of football and terms that I found annoying (football is not my thing). They share that in common as they both are football players. Not my thing.
It's safe and it has some sweet tender moments.
If you like her other books I think you will like this one as well.

I know, I snuck this one on you guys. I needed a lighter romance!

Cordy isn't your average girl, as the third string kicker for the Billingsley Bobcats she's a mascot, desperate to hold onto her scholarship so she can teach and support her father. When an opportunity arrises to receive a full ride scholarship she'll do whatever it takes to become the first-string kicker, even take direction from the guy who broke her heart. I literally have no idea how to rate this book, because I would rate every aspect of the story differently

The overall story I guess I would rate with 3 stars. Why? Because of American football. Yes, not football, but American football. I am from Europe and to me football is what Americans call soccer, and I love our football, I watch it especially
5 Trent and Cordy Stars

This is such a gorgeous book. Cordy is a very loveable heroine who lost her heart to Trent two years earlier. He is rich (comes from 'old' money ), handsome, shy and is the star Quarterback on Campus. When Trent nipped their budding relationship two years previously, he was cold and unkind and Cordy had no clue why. She comes from a little coal town, has no Mother and her Dad is an alcoholic. Trent is expected to achieve great things, not get caught up with a 'little side

“Football is a great deal like life in that it teaches that work, sacrifice, perseverance, competitive drive, selflessness and respect for authority is the price that each and every one of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile.” ~Vince Lombardi

I confess: My favorite sport is FOOTBALL! I love the fast-pace and fierce completion. I love the game. I LOVE FOOTBALL! Plus, I can watch those hot guys in tight pants with massive muscles scrambling over the ball all day long. There is nothin

It took me a while to get into Kicked but when I did man oh man did I enjoy it. I love women in unorthodox settings so it didn't take long at all for me to root for Cordy. I loved watching her grow as a character as well as watching her relationship develop with Trent. I thought they were a great complement to each other. I loved how sweet yet dirty Trent was. The sex scenes were extremely hot.

All in all Kicked is an enjoyable read that I'd definitely recommend not only to sports romance fans.

Totally liked this more than I thought I would.
After reading this book I asked myself; “Mette, have you become a fangirl? “But what is exactly a fangirl?” I further asked myself. I turned to the ever trusting internet and thought; “Urban Dictionary has the answer to that!” And yes, it sure did. According to Urban Dictionary, a fangirl is; A female who has overstepped the line between healthy fandom and indecent obsession.
And what do you know? That’s me! Oh, I have become a creepy stalker, kind of person. Sorry, Celia!

Kicked is Celia Aaron’s first novel that delves into New Adult territory. With a unique story line, America’s favourite pass time, light college drama and a whole lot of sex. Undoubtedly, Celia Aaron strikes gold again. Told as a second chance romance, Kicked is filled with a perfect combination of humour and heartfelt. Showing off her creativity and her ability to challenge herself, with different genres, Celia Aaron is once again giving readers many reasons to remain avid and loyal fans.

I am really loving these sports romance novels! Cleat Chaser, Cleat Catcher and now Kicked!

I don't usually read blurbs first, as I like to experience everything without any kind of spoiler, so I have to say I was rather surprised to find out that the kicker in the story was actually a woman. I love that!
Trent is the quarterback, and Cordy, the third-string kicker. Cordy tries her best to avoid Trent as much as possible, but when an opportunity arises for her to try-out for the first-string kicke

A sweet romance with likeable characters, Trent had broke Cordy's heart two years before but was determined now to win her back. She's the kicker on the college football team while Trent is the quarterback.

This was okay but I didn't understand why Trent had waited two years before trying to get Cordy back that wasn't explained. There were a couple of things in the story that were made much of but then we're not really resolved, nor did they seem necessary in the first place. I liked Cordy and T

Once again, Celia Aaron has managed to write a beautiful love story with the depth of sports. But this story did indeed influence me a lot with feminism power and courage. Cordy, taking part of the MALE's college football team as a string kicker was great to read about. You dont read or see appearances like that so often, so indeed it was a refreshing cup of tea to read about the opposite gender in one game that unites them for their likes and physical strength of equality! Great read for sure! ...more
I thought this book was just ok. I think it could've been better especially if Trent could've been more of an alpha male instead of the nice guy he ended up being. ...more

It could have been better if the characters had some personality. And football is not my thing so it was an okay read for me.
