FIRE's Guide to Due Process and Campus Justice

Rate this book
Too often, students on our nation’s campuses face misconduct charges without meaningful due process protections and fundamentally fair procedures. Because one must know one’s rights in order to exercise them, FIRE’s Guide to Due Process and Campus Justice introduces readers to both legal and moral arguments in support of due process protections, explaining their application on private and public campuses. The Guide informs readers about the appropriate (and inappropriate) methods by which university administrators address issues of academic and non-academic misconduct and provides a history of how student due process issues have been handled by courts. Remember: forewarned is forearmed.

Unfortunately, the copy I have is a misprint—pages 61-92 are missing, and pages 93-124 are printed twice—otherwise I would have given it five stars. If the book had been complete, the content would have been worth five stars, but I must deduct a star for the missing material.
