At forty-three, Cora Jean thinks her dream of becoming a wife and mother may be a lost cause. She begins to seek another kind of dramatic change in her life.
After losing his father and brother in a traffic accident, Woodrow Wilson Morgan III struggles to maintain the family hazelnut orchard by himself. It doesn't help that two housekeepers have come and gone in the six months since his brother's widow left her two incorrigible daughters in Woody's care. How much hardship can one man endure?
When Cora answers Woody's ad for a housekeeper, a four-way battle of wills begins. Will the stubborn orchard dwellers of Woodhaven Acres drive each other nuts? Or will they trust God to guide the change they each so desperately need?
Classic cheesy romance, much like a Hallmark movie. 📚my ratings: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: Loved it. Couldn't put it down. I will probably read it again and it has a place in my library. ⭐⭐⭐⭐: Enjoyed it. Good characters, great story. if nonfiction, great information, interesting topic. ⭐⭐⭐: Liked it. Glad I read it, but probably won't read again. ⭐⭐: okay, I won't read it again, it will not be kept for my library. ⭐: I didn't like it, don't recommend it.
Honestly didn't have too much expectation going into this one. Didn't seem that interesting to me. But I was pleasantly surprised since it was a good story. Not much romance in it, but still good.
