Since I'm behind on my challenge count, I should list each of these books individually to catch up. LOL Oh, and full disclosure the last novel in the book and the bonus novella are mine. NIGHT SHIFT is #1 in my Nightriders MC series and REMEMBER THE NIGHT is a never-before-published novella. So...why am I reviewing this box set? Because I hadn't read the other books included before I was asked to participate. And dang! I should have been reading these ladies! These books covered the gamut--secret agents, sexy SEALs, undercover operatives, alpha bikers that all provided heart-pounding thrills and lots of romance. Here's my break-down of the individual books:Book #1: LIES by Kathryn Jane
Horses! And a sexy horse "whisperer!" And a very sexy man on the case of a missing million dollar racehorse. Jake and Tara come to a slow boil and then the action heats up. Thoroughly enjoyed this one!
Book #2: CHILLED BY DEATH by Dale Mayer
I love the mountains almost as much as I love second-chance stories, especially when there is no trust lost between the heroine and hero. Stacy has ghosts to lay to rest and Royce was a bad boy to the bone. With luck, he might win her back, as soon as they survive a nightmare. Tight story-telling makes this a white-knuckle read.
Book #3: THE REBEL'S REDEMPTION by Jacquie Biggar
Is it ever too late to atone for past mistakes? The hero, Jared, is going to find out the hard way. The past rears it's ugly head--and brings with it a surprise Jared wasn't prepared for but is ready to accept. Lots of romance and feels in this one. All good!
Book #4: LOVE & REDEMPTION by Chantel Rhondeau
Domestic Black Ops and a super-secret government group. My catnip! Add in a case of suspect identity, a secret agent with a conscience, and a woman with no clue she's a suspected terrorist all make for a fact-paced story. Nick is a man torn between loyalty to his mission and his boss and the woman he's fallen in love with--and his target for elimination. Carlie is a heroine with a heart of gold but her character is so finely drawn, she doesn't come across as a cliche.
Book #5: BROKEN BUILD by Rachelle Ayala
Nerd alert. This book is set in Silicone Valley at a tech start-up company. There's coding and death and love and and those darn past events coming back to bite. I couldn't help but root for Jen and Dave to get their happy ever after, and man, did Rachelle make them work for it! To me, that's the best kind of story.
Book #6: NIGHT SHIFT (Nightriders MC #1) by Silver James
Yes, this would be me. I obviously love the story. LOL I do want to do a little Snoopy dance because this book is a finalist in OKRWA's National Readers Choice Awards in the Erotic Romance category. This book is dark and gritty with alpha Wolf shifters, a war between MCs, and a Wolf who will do anything to protect his mate and the kids he's claimed as his own.
And the bonus novella is mine, too. This is a shorter novella also set in the Nightrider world. Not quite as dark and gritty but still sexy.
Bonus Book #7: REMEMBER THE NIGHT (A Nightrider MC novella)
Lucky and Gemma were in a short story and I enjoyed them so much, I expanded it for this novella. This is a second chance story and y'all know how I feel about them. ;)

I loved this box set and this review is for The Rebel's Redemption by Jacquie Biggar:
Second chances and forgiveness are two main themes to the books I have read over the last few weeks. We all need forgiveness but what happens when the one person you love more than life itself walks out of your life and you hear nothing from them for eight years? Then one day, that person returns.
This is exactly the premise of The Rebel’s Redemption. Annie loved Jared and thought they would be together forever. He ran off to join the Navy Seals and Annie was left wondering what happened. Eight years later, he returns and she has to come to grips with her aching heart.
Jared is a tortured soul, mired with regret, and the last thing he needed was to reignite his relationship with Annie. But circumstances have changed and he must come to grips with the cold hard truth.
An enemy of Jared’s come to town, seeking revenge and all hell breaks loose. Suddenly, Annie and Jared must work together to defeat this dangerous enemy. Can they do it before it’s too late?
I’m a sucker for romantic suspense and this book doesn’t disappoint. In fact, it’s one of the best romantic suspense novels I have read in a long time. The author grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go until the final page. The action is pulse-pounding and I read it in one sitting. The relationship between Annie and Jared wasn’t choppy, like I have seen in other books. Sure, there is betrayal and hurt feelings but the author created such energy between Annie and Jared that it flowed really well.
What sealed the deal for me on giving it a five star rating was the complexity of the characters. Each character had its own back-story and they felt so real to me. I caught myself nodding along whenever the dialogue made logical sense. I was completely absorbed in the story and that’s rare for me as a reader these days.
This is book two in a series but it also reads as a stand-alone. I, myself, am going to read book one and wait patiently as the author writes book three.
If you love a good story and want to be taken away on a suspenseful journey, pick up this book immediately!
Favorite Character:

The boxset Hotshot danger is an amazing boxset who containse a great number of great books. All of them is of highest standard and worth reading.
Book #1: Lies by Kathryn Jane
Really good read and the first book I read by Kathryn Jane. I am now curious and will read more from the author because this book really captured me and my interest. the book really drags you in and captur the reader.
Book #2: Chilled by Death by Dale Mayer
This is the third book in the series, which I didnt know when I started reading it. It is nothing wrong with it, but I hadnt read the first two so I did feel like I was missing parts of the story but even so, when I got over that and had checked out that this was the third book, I read it and liked it and will go back later on and read the entire series.
Book #3: The Rebel’s Redemption by Jacquie Biggar
A bit hard to get into but when I finally did, it turned out to be an really good read with a lot of suspension. The storyline is just perfect and amazing. I didnt want this story to ever end. If I would recommend ONE of the awesome storied in this boxset, this would be the one.
Book #4: Love & Deception by Chantel Rhondeau
A really good story that I read for the first time, a while back and really enjoyed and really fell for. I reread it and it is still a brilliant story with an very amazing storyline that is breathtaking.

My heart broke and mended and with this book. Another truly amazing story from a truly amazing author and this book is well written and in many ways very different from Rachelles other books. But it is still an amazing book that I love.

If you are a suspense romance fan, then this is a book set for you. Many well know authors are in this set and each one has their own unique story to tell.
There was suspense, redemption, heartache, intrigue, romance, etc. in this set.
Each story can be read as a stand alone.
Would I recommend this set? Yes!

I've read Serving up Love by Chantel Rhondeau so far. Here's my review:
This is a wonderful story about what can happen when the boundaries of professionalism are blurred. Melanie is a rising star in the tennis world. Rich and beautiful, she gets everything she wants. What she wants now is Ethan, her coach. Ethan is a tennis star in his own right; benched due to a leg injury that left him with unending pain and a limp. He's rebuilt his career by training new people to be champions. Is he willing to compromise his own rules against fraternizing with clients, to give Mel what she wants? How will that affect their training? Her performance? Her parents, wealthy snobs, may not want their daughter to be taken advantage of, if they ever found out, it would be catastrophic! I really loved this story. If you've ever read anything else by this author, and loved it, you will love this too!
