Our world has turned out somewhat differently to what Bova envisaged in Millennium, however the questions raised in it are as plausible today as they were when this book was written. Is patriotism worth it, if it risks humanity itself. And are people who put the greater good of humanity over their own nation traitors? I quite liked the central character - Chet Kinsman - by the end of the book. I read this book after reading Bova's Peacekeepers - Millennium was by far the better read.
