BARBARA: Officer Barbara Thompson is a woman on a mission -- to catch the serial jewel thief that's been terrorizing Pine Ridge. Plus she's on her first car chase, which is awesome! Hurtling through the mountain roads outside of town, she's just about to catch the bad guy when all of a sudden a bear looms in the road. She swerves, wrecks her cruiser, and the jerk thief gets away. Then the bear changes shape and becomes Rick Barnes, naked man-ho bear shifter. He's all smile and charm, but Barb is furious with him. A fury only mollified a little when he says he has a plan to make it up to her. He'll help her catch the bad guy yet.

RICK: Rick Barnes is a ladies' man and a bear-shifter extraordinaire, as he's only too happy to point out. Most women would go nuts to spend time romping around with him in his birthday suit. So why is this Officer Barbara Thompson so tough? And why does his bear go into fits when he's around her? There's something about this woman that intrigues him, and if helping her catch the bad guy lets him spend more time with her to figure out what that is, then so be it.

Things get dangerous when a group of murderous eagle shifters start chasing them, but they really heat up when Barbara and Rick discover their feelings for each other might be more complicated than they would have thought. Can two opposites on the run find happiness with each other?

This is a standalone HEA bear shifter paranormal romance short novel of 30,000 words, second in the Pine Ridge Bear Shifter Paranormal Romance series.

WARNING: Contains swear words, a sassy BBW heroine and steamy bear shifter action.

I was given this ARC for an honest review.

Barbara is in a car chase with a thief when she nearly runs over a Bear. Who happens to be Rick, a cocky bear shifter and a player. Total opposites now have to work together to survive and catch the thieves.
These two was fun to read. The sexual chemistry between them is hooottt!!!
I think if I was following a naked man with a big dick and a fine arse, I'd definitely  be checking him out and not noticing the world around haha. Belinda showed alot of restraint in making him wait, but was so worth it

This is the second book in the series but works very well as a stand alone.
Barbara Thompson is a cop for Pine Ridge she is in hot pursuit of a burglar when around the corner is a bear and she has to slam on the brakes and swerve to miss him. Rick is one cocky bear shifter and so full of himself. He has the day off when this happens and now the two will work together to catch the thief.

I enjoyed this read, from start to finish. There's a great mix of action and suspense along with great spice and a fun, strong connection between Barbara and Rick. The story kept me involved and turning pages.

You want me to tell you my story? 5 GOLD BEARS

I really would. It’s music of the heart. WHOOOT!! What a GRRRREAT, FURRY high-flying adventure this one is!! I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH! IT'S ONE BEARY PAWESOME TAIL! Belinda had me believing I was Officer Hotpants, I mean Barbara, right from the start, transporting me into the story, chasing the bad guys with Winnie, I mean Man-ho Rick, fishtailing through the majestic forest, and loving every single minute of it! Of course having such a BEARY nice bear butt to watch while hiking through the forest was a jewel of a bonus! wink I almost caved to my feelings and cried a few times, but I managed to nip it in the bud! Okay, not every time, twice I let the waterfalls flow, but it's because Belinda had me feeling & experiencing Barbara & Rick's emotions as well as my own! What can I say? I'm a sucker for GRRRREAT hot romantic piece of tail! I mean…for a great hot romantic tail! I loved Bear Run (book 1 in this series and Belinda's debut paranormal book!), but I have to say that I loved this one even more! Which is saying a lot since I LOVED it BEARY much, devouring it all in one go! In my opinion, because of how quickly I connected with the story & characters, how deep I sunk into this world, completely blocking out MY world and by just how much I relished Bear Mated, I think it is more than fair to say that Belinda has grown as an author, more confident even, even so much as to give me the impression that she herself loves this new world she created and is enjoying herself immensely, exploring it with her characters, even as her characters too! At least that is exactly how I feel about it all, so why not Belinda as well, right? Anyway, I think that Belinda is one BEARY talented author who has me EAGLERY anticipating the next book, and the next one, and the one after that, etc. so that I can live, play, love and shift in this FURRIFIC & PAWFECT Pine Ridge World, alongside, even AS her BEARY sexy, FURRY hot and loving FURTASTIC characters Human & Shifter alike!! This is one SHIFTACULAR book & series that you NEED to read! But just remember - When a giant naked man approaches you in the middle of nowhere, you don’t let him take your hand. Cop Rules 101. Cop Rules 102 was Don’t stare at his....

I received Bear Mated for an honest review. Barbara Thompson is a local cop, chasing a local jewel thief, and whilst on high pursuit, she rounds a bend and seeing a Bear in the road she slams on the breaks, avoiding a collision but in doing so runs her cruiser off the road and totals it. The Bear shifts into a butt naked man Rick who is hung well (Barbara couldn't help noticing and let's face who wouldn't?) Rick is a local bear shifter who is very cocky and thinks he's god's gift to women, he's obviously a player - beds his women and moves on, but he offers to help the female officer to catch the perp, he'd prevented her from catching, and soon realises he's met his match in her, and the chemistry is high, with Rick soon realising Barbara is his true mate. I won't diverse more about the story as it will spoil your reading except to say - I find a lot of these online ebooks are rather disappointing especially in length, they are more, of a short novella, where the author tells about a couple who has been part of the story but not been told in detail before, which I find frustrating as surely it's cheaper to produce books electronically as there is no printing etc, so it should result in a a proper book cheaper to produce for the author and so cheaper to buy for the reader? But it's not the case and several of the books I've reviewed have been extremely disappointing due to length. And those that aren't tend to cost more than it would buying a paperback - WTH? But back to "Bear Mated" it wasn't as bad as many I've previously read. And one thing it did have going for it was humour:-) the author did make me laugh:-) which is always a good thing! and some books lately especially in the paranormal genre, seem to be overloaded with sex scenes, but this was evenly spaced out amongst a good story. It was only due to the length that I only gave it four star instead of five. But it is definitely worth a read!

>Book Review – Bear Mated

>I am an independent reviewer. This story is the second book in the Pine Ridge series and ends in an HEA. This story assumes that humans and shifters are aware of each other. Barb is a cop and Rick is a bear shifter. The story starts out quite humorous, with a naked Rick and a google eyed Barb. Barb’s descriptive terms for Rick were so funny. The story jumps right into the “you’re my mate” realm. There is no time spent on getting to know either character.

>A weak mystery is introduced involving a jewel thief. This mystery is not hard to figure out and not dangerous. The only danger is in an attack scene with eagles and Rick. This one scene makes the book exciting, but only this one scene. The chemistry between Barb and Rick is described as being destined by fate, but in reality, there isn’t any sexual tension at all.

>An opportunity to have a little storyline tension when Barb meets the Pine Ridge shifters is wasted when the story just states that they meet and accept Barb. This story is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the story 3 stars. So much more could have been done with this plot and story line.

Barbara is a police officer and Rick meet her when she is on the hunt for a jewel thief. He is in bear form and causes her to crash her car. Rick agrees to help her get the thief to make amends.

Rick is a big flirt and used to women falling at his feet. Barbara works to resist him but can't stop taking a peek at the nude shifter. His comments may be offensive but his body is not.

The two work together to discover the thief and encounter some dangerous shifters who are not happy to have their land invaded.

It is a fun read. This is the second book in the series but really is a standalone. You do not have to read the first book to fully enjoy the story but it is a good read too.

In this town, the humans know about the shifters. Some welcome them and other fear them. The first book was more about the discrimination against the shifters and the violent bear clan fighting them and each other. This one is less serious in nature and only touches briefly on the issues the town is facing.

Officer Barbara Thompson is on a mission to catch the serial jewel thief. She's just about to catch the bad guy when a bear looms in the road. She swerves, wrecks her cruiser, and the jerk thief gets away. The bear changes and becomes Rick Barnes, willing to help her catch the bad guy. Rick is a ladies' man and bear-shifter extraordinaire, as he's only too happy to point out. Most women would go nuts to spend time romping around with him in his birthday suit. He does not understand why Officer Thompson seems immune to his obvious charms nor why his bear goes into fits when he's around her.

This is a standalone HEA, second in the Pine Ridge Bear Shifter Paranormal Romance series. An interesting read with eagle and bear shifters. Officer Thompson wants to do her job and not give in to Rick, even though she is attracted to him. He obviously believes he has it all. I felt one of the scenes was awkward.

Barbara Thompson is a cop for Pine Ridge she is in hot pursuit of a burglar when around the curve is a bear and she must slam on the brakes and swerve away from the bear thereby wrecking her cruiser.

Rick is enjoying his day off when the incident occurs. He is one cocky bear and full of himself but something about Barbara changes him. Barbara is attracted to the naked shifter but she is also peed off that he ruined her pursuit of the burglar. Rick in turn offers his help thus begins their story.

I just thoroughly enjoyed this story and I am now addicted to this author and hope to follow this series and enjoy Bear Love the next story and I cannot wait.

I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review. Grab a copy you will be glad you did.

This is the second book in the series but works very well as a stand alone. Rick is a man who’s a Bear shifter and Barbara is a Deputy Sheriff in Pines Ridge, a town made up of mostly shifters. While trying to catch a thief Barbara crashes her car because Rick is walking accross the road as a bear !! And the sexy shenanigans go from there. They are both NOT looking for Mr or Mrs right, but when they are attacked and stuck in a cave destiny rears her head and boom, they make out like teenagers, the question is, can they make something out of it once they get back to real life ? Can Barbara catch the thieves and not get fired ? Can Rick settle down with just one woman ? Read the book to find out !! 4☆'s for this sexy shifter crime caper.

Loving the Pine Ridge bears.

Barbara and Rick were a delightful pair to read about. She is a cop in small country town were there are bear shifters working to rebuild a ski lodge.

Both are alone in the world but do they have what it takes to be a couple?

This is a really quick read great for a lunch hour or doctor's appointment wait.

I loved it! Rick and Barb are very funny together. Barb is a police officer on the trail of a thief. what she doesn't realize is that the thief is a shifter. Sometimes it takes a shifter to take one down. Rick teams up with Barb and ends up helping her catch the theives after mating her. I can't wait to see what happens next in the series.

I was given an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review. I know I will continue to follow this author and her Pine Ridge series.

Great shifter romance. I love that the cop is the woman. She is a strong character and can handle anything thrown at her. But when she almost hits a bear who can turn into a gorgeous man, all bets are off.

If you like romantic shifter stories this book is for you. I suggest for mature adults due to the amount of sex in the book.

Insta-love at its best

Some readers don't really appreciate Indra-love stories, but I like them when they are done like this. It doesn't matter that they've known each other a day, magic happens and it's beautiful. I didn't think I'd like the characters, but they grew on me fast. Feisty and a bit arrogant mesh well together in this little cop-and-robbers adventure.

Enjoyable book. I loved the characters of Barbara & Rick: Professional police woman & "cocky" shifter. I had never read a book with eagle shifters before & found the concept very fresh & intriguing. A humorous & sexy romp!
