In line with the first, it neither improves nor gets worse. It is a story that is enjoyed and read very quickly because of how much it entertains, which is full of fun moments. I feel that this second part maybe made me enjoy a little more than the previous one, there is a lot of fun and each of the clients are absolutely incredible. The month of May was the best.

I know I said I loved Wes, only him, and I did not care who came next, but... Wes disappointed me a little in this book. Alec

I didn't like this book as much as i liked the first one! Mainly because i thought the story felt off, and the characters got more and more boring. The only person i actually adore at this point is Wes, because he is my bae! Mia was super selfish, and the men were primarly, ridiculously focused on her. I know that the whole journey is about Mia, but the fact that the story focuses mainly on her desires, wishes and demands kinda gets boring. The variety in the actual plot is missing. For me it fe ...more

Calendar Girl wasn’t a series it was an adventure. A year long adventure of self discovery and fun for the main character, Mia. This series is amazing because it can be binged or it can be read in short snippets by reading a month at a time. The storyline is all the angst and drama filled goodness you want from a Las Vegas setting.

Mia is hard to crack. She is a fighter and I really admire her and loved seeing her grow through the year.
Mah Marino | Happy Reading Co.

It was better than the last one, but still bad. Filled with stereotypes, really poor judgment and Mia is not a very good person...
Not continuing with the series.
Calendar Girl 2 contains the next three parts of Mia's story, April, May and June, and is at once a delicious continuation of the first book and also very new and refreshing. Just as I started to feel nervous that all 12 stories would follow the same pattern, Audrey Carlan underlines that this is not an erotic series, but "erotic romance", meaning that if you remove sex from books, there is still a story. And for my part, I really liked the way the story developed in this book. And yet I didn't. ...more

I don’t know if I’m stupid, or just a fucking idiot, but like the first book (1,2 and 3 combined) in this series it wasn’t impressing what so ever. It’s not like I expected this to be excellent, neither did I expect the author’s writing style to be different, but I read it and once again got really annoyed. This book got a 3.9 star rating, I can’t understand why. Personally, I thought it was horrible, and I can’t understand why people (especially in Norway) rave about this book when it’s really ...more

Ugh, almost quit after the first chapter. Speed read this just to get through and keep up with Wes. Some really good parts, but overall just 2 stars.
This was an awesome series, was able to read them all within a week. Fast Reads.
Must read in order since it is a 12 month series.

Mia n her family have a lot of problems. With her dad getting beat up n Mia having to take care of his debt. Each month is a fun little adventure for Mia n learning something new about herself as well as learning about new people n what they are capable. Mia n Wes have many tests thru the months. Will they make it .. . you will have read till the end to find out. Mia
I'm flying through this series! This volume had some twists & turns which I thought was good for the storyline. I also love how we saw some other 'clients' in this volume. Mia's clients are turning into family & friends which I love. I have to say, this series is not turning out like I thought it would. I thought every month would read the same with Mia sleeping with her clients but, that's not at all what's happening. She's more of a companion to most of them. This is also turning into ...more
This continues to be so bad it's entertaining, not good but fascinating in its badness. It's sort of like "Mary Sue" fan fiction, the heroine can do anything no matter what situation she ends up in even if she is completely unfamiliar with it.

Our hooker with the heart of gold Mia continues on her year long career as an escort. She took the job from her Aunt's agency (how convenient to have an Aunt who's a Madam) to pay off her father's gambling debt. This also keeps her younger sister safe.

April-5 stars. I loved this one. Mia is hired to help clean up the image of a bad boy baseball player. I love baseball so this was a perfect setting. Mia plays matchmaker again which I prefer since I am still liking Wes.
May-2.5 stars. I didn't get on board with the insta lust so the relationship and the story did not hold my interest. Mia is upset with Wes for having a friends with benefits type relationship yet she is doing the same thing. This irritated me.
June-4 stars. Mia plays matchmaker ag

Calendar girl. Volumes 1-4 by Carlan_ Audrey

Calendar girl: Mia wants to get in, make her money and get out problem is she has to keep her heart out of it.
She rides a bike and will explore the escort service after being a waitress on the Vegas strip. Her aunt will help her as it's her brother that is hospitalized from not paying back the loan sharks.
Her job for the next month is with Wes, in CA and she has her own room and wardrobe and lots of events they will at
I'm here for the long haul...all 12 months are going down! I love Mia and can't wait to see her grow the rest of the year.

April: My favorite part of April was when Rachel called out Mia on the fact that she talks to her friend with horribly crude language. I'm hoping that wears off as the year goes on. Mia is making so many friends and she's learning that you don't have to talk filthy to them.

May: Gin and Maddy visiting was fun for Mia. She also made another life long friend.

June: This month

Amazing journey

Mia is continuing her journey and it lets her experience friendship, family love, cruelty and most of all opening her eyes to how many people loves her.

I will not go in to each months story but more generally what I like about this books., not that I can point out.

* Light and fun writing style.
* Lots of dialogues
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* Characters described with emotions and in a realistic way
* Hot love scenes

I love that this journey is als

I was really torn on how I wanted to rate this. I still had a good time, I still enjoyed Mia's adventures but something was lacking from this book. The urgency seemed to be gone and some of the conflict seemed leave Mia.

April brought us Mason and I didn't expect how well rounded he turned out. Out of all of them I found Mason was the most gripping of the three men. However Mia wasn't as emotionally invested as she was with previous escort jobs. And the conflict that arose wasn't really that awf

OH MY GOD. I had just started this book today as I wrote the review for the first book this morning! I am not disappointed with this book at all I would give it the exact same review for the first one but I think this one was personally better! I must say that Tai... he just sounds sexy as sin. I love the series because every single man is different, they all don't have just one quality they are all completely different in their own way and I think that it is what is making this book so captivat ...more

Ok, so I thought January, February & March were not only handsome and sexy, but adorable as well. But April and May . . . Whew. Mason was a bit of a jerk in the beginning, but at the end, he turned out to be a pretty chill guy. Tia . . . Now that boy seemed amazing. He was not only good looking (ok, hot), but was a sex God in bed, and a natural sweetheart. June, Warren is very very sweet, but, with Aaron around, it brought Mia a thought that she does indeed have a family. A previous month yu ...more

April: Don't fully remember much because read almost two months ago. I do remember that I liked Mason once you got to know him. Rachel was crazy in this one apparently did a cool to hot hot hot in two seconds. Weird to me.

May: was crazy hot right away. I still dislike Gin. I hate how they talk to each other. Overall good book. Mr May happened super fast in the end everything worked out. But hmmm seeing him in situations in future books would have been nice.

June: This was probably my least favor

I have to say this is a book I didn't think I would be able to get in to but once I began I couldn't stop. I was so caught up in the story it pained me to have to wait for the next volume to come out if it wasn't yet available. Mia wants to help her father out but he has really never helped her. When he needs protection from some not so nice men she steps up to not only take care of her sister but to also make sure her fathers bills are paid. She accepts a job working for her Aunt's call girl/es ...more

I read this entire series like one would binge-watch Netflix. I went in blind with this series. I thought it was going to be like others in the aspect that each book was about a different girl. However, it is all about one amazing woman and her year-long journey to find herself. Along the way, she meets some really interesting people and eventually, she finds the family and the love she's been after her entire life.

If you have any doubts about joining her on this journey, don't. Just jump in, y

I read Volume 1 over 2 years ago, with the intent to read the rest of this series right away, but life happens and unfortunately this series got lost in my kindle. I had to do a reread of Volume 1 before I could continue on to this one (no complaints because it was just as good as the first time). Volume 2 was good, but I was a bit disappointed with the way Mia handled a situation that happened at the end of June. I’m hoping it will be addressed (sooner or later) in the series. Ov

For me, the *** is too much that I almost skipped these parts of the story. But what I like this book is Mia’s character and how she sees life as she moves on from one journey to another. Meeting those people and living her life at the moment. I also love her relationship with her sister and how she openly accepts her sister and also her bestfriend.

I love how she became friends with her clients and how she helped them in any way she can.

This was a letdown from the first three, especially the May book. Just got too cheesy with the writing. Tai was a literal caricature of the Samoan culture. A bad knockoff of the Rock and I’m sad to say, I think that’s what Carlan was aiming for, minus the bad part.

Only reason I’m sticking with the series is because I’m still invested in seeing how Wes and Mia’s story plays out. Just may not purchase the next trio right away. I’ll take a break.

I decided to start reading these as volumes

April- I love a good baseball story romance. Players who become so much more

May- oh the beauty of Hawaii and with the passion of the land and oh that man

June- wow the things a girl goes through to help those who help others

Overall loved all 3books. Each continuing to show Mia the world through new eyes that she has never seen with before.

It's tough to follow up the first quarter of the year, but this one kept me reading. I liked the first two guys she met in this book, Mason and Tai. The drama in the final month was very different from the others that it was jarring, although I'm sure it was added to shake things up a bit. Can't have a perfect experience all the time. I'm still intrigued enough to read on to the next months, but not sure if anyone can beat January/February.

Mia’s adventures, as a cover girl, are continuing and I still keep saying that this book series is an erotic fantasy, not a story in reality, simply because no cover girl could be so lucky to have such handsome, rich and kind clients. But at least is an enjoyable reading, when Mia gives bits of advice or solutions to other characters' problems. And there is always a reminder that she's a moral person, something it reflects in her job. OK, it's not reality, but fun anyway.

This second volume was good, but the first was definitely better! The guys were more fun to read about in the first novel.
Boston was just okay, Hawaii was fun, and D.C. was just weird. Regardless, Mia's adventures were still fun to follow. I enjoyed finding out more about her sister and best friend. I also like how the author connects characters from previous months into Mia's current situations. There definitely needs to be more Wes!
I am looking forward to the next volume!
