Police Officers Beau Rivers and Dylan Akers are outcasts. Two men were murdered …. The very men who kidnapped and raped Dylan’s daughter. Everyone knows who murdered them … there’s just not enough evidence to charge them with anything.

That’s been true … until now. The Chief has come across some evidence that has been overlooked. Now he has two choices. One is to hand over what he has to Major Pritchard, the obsessed IA Commander who will do anything to put Rivers and Akers behind bars.

This is an fast paced police action novel that is sure to keep you turning the pages.

While you do not absolutely have to read the first book, "From Behind the Blue Line", this one would be more satisfying and clearer if you did. Still, if you don't, there is enough backstory woven into this that you'd get the gist of why the characters in this one are being forced to be rogue cops.

Enough other of the reviewers have given book reports, so I will not add to that. Suffice it to say this is a good

Crossing the Blue Line is the award winning sequel to From Behind the Blue Line. While reading the first book is not necessary I would recommend it. Akers and Rivers are intriguing characters that you easily connected with in the first book and root for in this book. The story is fast paced with unexpected turns steeped in realistic police procedure. William Mark is a creative story teller that keeps you turning the pages.

Born and raised in Tallahassee and the main locale I choose to write about. I love to travel and hope to see as much of the world as I can. I enjoy a good beer, a good book and a good movie. I'm a cop, SWAT guy, former homicide dick, softball teammate, brother, son, husband to very beautiful and patient woman, but the hat I enjoy wearing the most, is father. Savannah (10), Connor (7) and Clayton ...more
