This book seemed well researched and documented. It was very informative. I got a little lost in some of the descriptions of xenoestrogens and how certain chemicals and herbs effect various hormones in the body, but it was otherwise a decent introduction to adenomyosis. And, I agree, it seems like more studies need to be done.
Five stars simply for the fact that it was written. I had this shitty disease for who knows how long, but I wasn't diagnosed with it until last year. For the almost ten years I went to doctors practically begging them to find out what was wrong with me, I never once heard the word "Adenomyosis" until last year, just before I had a hysterectomy.
