Oración y ayuno

Rate this book
¿Has Estado Ayunando Ultimamente?

Have you fasted lately?
We cry out, “O God, raise up men and women who can touch You in prayer and bring revival to our families, our churches, and our nation.” But we end our prayers quickly--everyone is hungry and we must eat before our food gets cold. Is it any wonder that our prayers are not prevailing? Satan is having a field day, diverting the attention of God’s people away from the Lord. The enemy of our souls is so afraid of our unused power in God that he is trying to confuse us, individually and collectively. He wants to keep us from the increased power we receive as we pray and fast. Fasting and prayer sharpen your expectancy so that when you ask, you expect to receive. Discover the benefits of prayer and fasting, and learn to fast successfully.

Fletcher is forceful in his defense of prayer and fasting. He believes so much needs to be accomplished in the kingdom of God that it can only be done through the aid of these disciplines. To Fletcher there is no question as to the necessity of these practices for those who love and follow the Lord.

Did I skip your name? It is amazing how food is highly exalted in our time even in the "Church".
