This is a darling, delightful book, bright, colorful, and cheerful, eye-catching for adults and children. A charming book to help parents and their kids when it's time to lock up the car seat belt, and done in a fun way. It's quick, which is good for youngsters, and the pictures are a delight. Little ones understand race cars and space ships and dune buggies and . . . I won't do any more spoilers of the cute lures to convince kids to buckle up. It has the added advantage of giving them ideas for ...more

Better Buckle Up

A really enjoyable read for adults and children.

A very clear and positive message, in a captivating and exciting story, well written and at a fast pace, ideal for keeping young minds engaged.

Lovely, colourful and interesting illustrations that are packed with small details on each page that mean there is lots to look at. Every time you read through the story you spot something different to talk about and discuss and it keeps it fresh.

Looking forward to many more reads to come!

Cute book for toddlers and preschoolers. Very young children have difficulty following directions; the mother in this story uses examples to explain to her son why he needs to wear a seatbelt. She poses what if questions to Ollie. Certainly, if you want to do things like ride a race car, rocket ship, roller coaster, fire engine or dune buggy you will need to wear a seat belt. Ollie understands her reasoning and decides he must buckle up when he rides in the car.

Ollie and his mom are portrayed as

Be safe and buckle up.

A wonderful little book, loved how you could tap on the text to enlarge it for ease of reading. A great message for early learners. If a youngster wants to be able to do wonderful things in the future from driving a racing car to flying a plane then mummy tells them repeatedly 'You'd better buckle up'. Always better to be safe.

An adorable short picture-book, which shows Mummy and Ollie taking part in daredevil adventures - and where, as a big boy, he will always need to 'buckle up'!

The colourful illustrations are delightful and add a level of humour for the parent to enjoy, while reading the story with their young family.

This picture-book is not only a fun read but will undoubtedly help to inspire all those young children - who are resistant to safe travel in their car-seats - to look to their childhood heroes and 'b

The illustrations are vibrant and captivating. Even images in the background are illustrated with careful detail. This little book is a great way to persuade children to buckle up. It entertains the child while helping him use his imagination to think about the benefits of seat belts.
