“Time Square: UFO” by S.W. Lothian is the fourth straight winner from this author. I thoroughly enjoyed Lothian’s “The Quest” series, so I approached this first volume [SEE my Update at the end of this review] in the new “Time Square” series in anticipation of another literary treat. I was not disappointed.

“Time Square: UFO” begins a new series of adventures for a time-travelling team of young teens. A well-meaning archaeologist brings home an

Time Square: UFO: Team ELMR, (Eva,Lewis,Max&Razor) The kids are off on their first mission, to find displaced Time Square traveler, Wilber Force. They arrive in Roswell, 1947 to find that some rather bizarre UFO activity has just been reported. Melvin, a brilliant but long since forgotten inventor, had been hiding away in an

Synopsis- When Eva and Lewis’ dad put time itself in mortal danger (accidentally, of course – he’s really a nice guy), 163 time travelers were scattered throughout time. Rescue teams were sent out to save the travelers from whatever time they landed in. Eva and Lewis, along with their new friends, Max Wells and Razer Sharpe, become a team, and are sent to 1947 Roswell, the time of the supposed UFO crash-landing. Will the rescue team be able to find and help the lost time traveler in time (no pun ...more

I really enjoyed this book. this is the second book in the Time Square series. I this adventure ELMR is brought into the Roswell event. They have been sent through time to find Wilber Force who has been kidnapped. Sultan Peppercorn who had stolen the obelisk has frozen it hoping to shatter it. Instead he creates an ice age in Time Square. I was happy to read this book because the author had a "name a character" contest. I submitted the name Leonard Paxton. Based on the description he had given ...more

I've become a loyal fan of SW's stories. With the second story in the Time Square series, he doesn't disappoint readers. UFO With the first page, I was drawn immediately back into the story that started with Time Shift. This latest adventure for Team ELMR and Operation Slingshot brings in a unique US historical event that is still debated today: Roswell and aliens! The stranded traveler that the team is looking for has been mistaken as an alien by a scientist/inventor who is a little short of a ...more

Review: TIME SQUARE SHIFT and TIME SQUARE UFO SW LOTHIAN

Author SW LOTHIAN has consistently proven his ability to pen adventurous, intriguing, novels for middle-grade readers. His QUEST series introduced reader's to the glory of Ancient Egypt with clever time-travel, "learn while adventuring." In this new series, he postulates, not just time travel, but threats to the actual nature and existing of time. In the 1930's, an "absent-minded" professor and his adolescent daughter and son discover
