While traveling, the Tendo and Saotome families are forced to take shelter from the rain in a spooky old mansion. Whilst here, girl-type Ranma slips on a banana peel and accidentally uncovers a cursed mirror that makes a love-hungry copy of her. This crazy cope is actually the spirit of a girl who died right before going on a date. From there, wackiness ensues as this kook ...more

They say you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. But I did - And I was right ;) This series is amazing! You get genderbender, fantasy, action, romance and slapstick-humor along with intense serious moments, what more can you want?

Part 1: The Two Ranma's: Genma and Ranma arrive at a place called the Mirror Mansion. Ranma-chan is duplicated after she gazes into a certain mirror. Ranma-chan 2, to give her a name, loves to hit on guys. She doesn't turn into a boy when bathing in hot water, either.

Part 2: An Isoscele's Love Triangle: RC2 also likes to wear very revealing clothing. Ranma is given a compact mirror that she can supposedly trap RC2 in. RC2 has fallen in love (or at least lust) with Ranma.

Part 3: Get That Compact

Spoilers!!!!

Ch1: Ranma in love with Ranma! TOO FREAKING GREAT!

Ch:2 His copy is making it so clear how Ranma really feels about Akane <3

Ch3: "So impatient start with a kiss." Then he feels himself up lol.

Ch4: Making another copy of himself for himself, this has to be the best chapter ending too this story.

Ch5: I've always thought Kuno and Nabiki would make a good couple but it was too good to be true. Nabiki's blackmailing is always amusing I liked when she was writing out Ranma did it.

Ch 6

oh VIZ, why you gotta make such bizarre editing mistakes... Ucchan's joint gets called "Cat Cafe" in one panel, as in someone redrew the shop name completely, but then Kunoichi's uniform is stuck with place name written backwards

Not as many laugh-out-loud moments as other Ranma books, but pretty funny nonetheless.

I don't have much to say about this volume. It was just there. Though it was fun seeing two Ranmas at once - the girl and boy counterparts together. Ranma is so cute as a girl!

Every now and again I've got to re-read Ranma 1/2. Rumiko Takahashi is a great story teller. This is one of the funniest manga I have ever read.
