A mollusk expert’s insightful take on the stages of child development. Piaget’s theory would help me to better structure my presentation of materials to elementary students, and encourages the development of moral reasoning skills in addition to purely academic goals. This is a good book for those who want to learn more about cognitive development. In his work, Jean Piaget explains children's development in various stages. In the second stage which he calls the "preoperational stage", Piaget explains transductive reasoning - a breakthrough concept in my opinion.
