Vivian Winslow is a good storyteller. I enjoy her writing style and her characters are always interesting, likable, and strong. That being said, this story was just okay for me.

I didn't feel connected to the characters and the chemistry between Camila & Marshall wasn't as strong (for me) as I would've liked.

Although this book didn't grab my attention as much as I'd hoped, I would still read more from this author.

In this third book of the Wildflowers series, we meet Camila and she.  was.  amazing.

Uncovering Camila starts with the reader being introduced to Camila Cohen, a bar tender at L, in New York.  She’s a bit of a commitment-phobe, what with the whole deal about our very own Chef Eliseo leaving her to move to Miami, and Camila being very very in love with him at the time.  However, her cousin Shobhana decides to take matters into her own hands and bring morose, broody Camila out of her shell again.

ARC received for an honest review

It has been a while since I read the Wildflowers series, and it was great to get back into this series.

Camila Cohen has been burned by men and has decided that she is no longer going to date. Driven by schooling and her career, it is enough for her.

Until a blind date completely blindsides her.

I adored Marshall right from the get go. There was just something about him on that first "date" that had me rooting for him.

Through all their trials and tribulations, I cou

Uncovering Camila is the third book in the Wildflower series by Vivian Winslow. I am really enjoying this series and discovering all the wonderful characters that Ms. Winslow has cleverly crafted. I must say that this book is definitely my favourite, so far. The book is a wonderful New Adult romance that enthralled me right from the first few pages.
I adore Camila, she is strong, determined and driven- knows what she wants and is working hard to make it happen. Then she meets Marshall and

Book 3 of the Wildflowers series takes us into the world of bartending and law school. While Camila is working her way through law school, she doesn't give herself time for relationships. She has things planned out and doesn't want to deviate. But one job offer and one unknown blind date can change the course she sets for herself. What will she decide to do? Camila is strong and unapologetic and I love that about her! Characters from book 1 and 2 are included in this book, so it would be worth i ...more

Another great story from VW. She has had my attention from day 1 and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book. This series is very much different from the twins and Vi - there is still the extremely hot stuff BUT there is also much more of these characters discovering themselves and learning to let go of the past and embrace the future and happiness. Camila and Marshall both have things to let go of but Camila also has to learn to think for herself , make her own choices and step out of th ...more

Camila works as a bartender at the L, where she is paying her way through law school at NYU. Shoshana is tired of Camila working so much and not taking any time for herself. So she set Camila up on a Tinder date without telling her. While Camila was waiting for the man to finish his drink and pay his bill, he said that she said that she was going to buy him his drink. Camila was really confused and told him to pay his bill or she was going to call the cops, until he called her C.C. That got her ...more

I get so excited when I see a email from Vivian Winslow informing me of a new book. I have been following her since her first novella released and get excited to read her newest releases. All her books are about very strong and independent women. Women who take no shit from men and can do it without a man. I love women like that. Camila was no different. She had her life in motion and didn’t need a man to fill up her time. She was okay with how things were. That is until Marshall shows up.

Well, Vivian Winslow has done it again. She's made me a love another set of secondary characters from the Guilded Flower series. Camila and Marshall were three dimensional characters with real lives, despite the world of money and politics their families come from.

There were times when I was angry with Camila, and other times I was mad at Marshall. I just wanted to shake them both and say, "Get your crap together!" A character in the story I could totally relate to in this aspect was Camila's co

Vivian Winslow is one of my favorite authors. Every book she writes immerses you in to the characters lives like no other author can. Uncovering Camila is the third book in the Wildflowers series but can be read as a stand alone. I love that this book seems to be a bit more character driven than the others.
Camila is probably one of my favorite female characters of Vivian's. She is strong, independent, and yet, she's afraid to let someone in. Marshall is delectable. He is her equal in every way.

Gripping and emotional, I loved Camila's story. From the start I was captivated and wanted to see her journey unfold. I loved Camila and Marshall, from beginning to end it was an incredible story of love with highs and lows, that gave me the feels. Heat and passion simmered the pages, stoking the flames of extacy. A great read...and like all the Wildflower books, I didn't want it to end. I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next. I did receive an ARC from the author for my honest re ...more

This story was very captivating and Camila and Marshall left me wanting so much more! I loved them and their story. It was a passionate and emotional ride with highs and lows and just a good time all around. Love the wildflower series and I can't wait for more to come! Even though this was the third in the series you definitely don't have to read them in order BUT as always it's way more fun if you do read the first ones. It just gives you more of a sense of who the characters are and all the si ...more

Vivian Winslow's "Uncovering Camila" is the third tale in the Wildflowers series, but you can read it as a standalone. As usual with Vivian Winslow, there is *plenty* of hawt hawt steamy sex! I just love her full length much great character development. Marshall James is a sexy book boyfriend! I love the geeky talk they do...Emily Roebling and bridge-building! This is like an erotic "Big Bang Theory." I can never get enough Vivian Winslow! ...more

Vivian Winslow has a wonderful way of oulling readers in. This has made the top of my list of must re-read and favorites. It's a fast paced read (at least it was for me). Uncovering Camila is a story that you will want to read and will have you wanting to read more by this author. I am definitely going to check out the author's other books after this.

I, Amber McCarty (Imaginative Dreams), was given a copy for an honest review.

“Isn’t there something in between?”

This is the third book in Vivian Winslow’s Wildflower series. Each book can be read as a standalone if need be, but they are so amazing and do have some overlapping so I highly recommend that you read them all in order and the other two first to get the full effect of the story line. I had not read the previous series that accompanies this one but since discovering the Wildflower series I have been going back and devouring that as well. I love the way that Vivi

The story Uncovering Camila (Wildflowers Book 3) by Vivian Winslow is a wonderful romance book that I loved reading. It has a storyline that had me turning pages to find out what would happen next. It also has the two amazing characters of Camila Cohen and Marshall James. Camila is a woman that doesn’t do relationships or commitments. Uncovering Camila by Vivian Winslow is the third book in her Wildflowers series and what a continuation of the series it is! It is classic Winslow with complex characters and crazy chemistry leading to steamy scenes that leave you blushing …

If you've been following my reading journey, then you know that lately Vivian Winslow has had my attention. I recently read Uncovering Camila by Vivian Winslow – and let's just say that it was not a disappointment. Not that it would be. So far, she's been able to capture my attention, and maintain it.

With Uncovering Camila, we get to actually meet Camila – she makes a slight appearance in Forbidden Rose as an acquaintance of Eliseo Perez. And by that, I mean, a bed – play mate. Just someone th

Uncovering Camila by Vivian Winslow is book three of the Wildflowers series. Though the books have characters that have appeared in other books in the series, the books don’t have to be read in order. This book ties with book one for my favorite book of the series.

Camila is driven. She has her plan and she is determined to stick to it. Camila is so determined that she stays clear of serious relationships for fear that a relationship will interfere with her goals. Eventually, Camila will have to

I am reading this series out of order (although I did read book 1 of the "Wildflowers Series" first) and I'm able to connect the necessary dots and fill in the blanks pretty well.

What I like about the characters in this book is THE STRONG WOMEN!!!! It's not often that all the female characters are superheroes. Judges and Lawyers and Students and Moms. They all have a superpower and are able to hold their heads high and proud. The friendships among the women are about empowerment and lifting each

Camila Cohen is the star in Uncovering Camila (Wildflowers Book 3) by Vivian Winslow. I have loved all three of her Wildflower books, but this is my favorite so far. Camila is relationship shy or to put it bluntly has commitment issues. She just got over a relationship with a man who she fell into without thinking straight. It has left her a bit burned. Then she meets delicious Marshall James. Camila decides a no strings attached relationship is just what the bartender ordered since she is one. ...more

Uncovering Camilo by Vivian Winslow is the third book in her Wildflower series. As good as the previous two this book is a great addition to an already great series.
Camila has everything figured out. On track to getting her college degree in law she is working hard as a bartender to help pay her way. She doesn’t have time for serious relationships, too much is at stake with her education.
But when her casual hookup leaves her for a job opportunity Camila begins to question if her strategy is wor

After reading and loving the first two books in this series I was really looking forward to reading Uncovering Camila and as expected I really enjoyed it. “Uncovering Camila” is the third book in the Wildflower series by Vivian Winslow so make sure to read the previous two books to get the full feel of the world of characters that Vivian Winslow has created. In “Uncovering Camila” we get to see what happened to Camila after Eliseo left her in “Forbidden Rose.” Camila is a smart, sexy law student who has had a one track mind for her career since she was a child. Uncovering Camila by Vivian Winslow is my favorite book of the Wildflowers series! This is the third book in this series of standalones. Written by Vivian Winslow
4 out of 5 stars

I’ve quickly learned that Vivian Winslow has a way of making you believe each story can not get better than the last and then suddenly you’ve found a new favorite book. I don’t have much to say about this novel that I haven’t already said about the first two books in the Wildflowers series. Such a roller coaster ride, full of raw emotions and drama. Once you start reading , this book ( and series ) it will immediately suck you in!!
Camila is in her last year of law school and also a bartender on her spare time. Which btw is very scarce. She has no time or desire for relationships!! Until Marshall. Will he be able to change her mind and heart ??
I truly can not say enough wonderful things about this series. It’s so

Uncovering Camila by Vivian Winslow is the third book in her Wildflowers series and it is just as good as the first two. Camila is a woman who always thought she had her life planned out. As a third year law student, and part time bartender, she neither wanted, nor needed a serious relationship. At least that’s what she told herself until she meets Marshall. Now with an offer from her uncle and a man in her life that knows what he wants, Camila’s carefully made plans are shaken to the core. This ...more
