It was a good short nonfiction mythical tale. The only thing I would say is this is definitely meant as an overview it doesn't go too in depth. Also this is probably for an older child depending on what they can handle as far as graphic images. There were a few images in the book that were disturbing but some kids are mature enough to handle it. In general I would say it is best for 12 and up.

The Graphic Greek Myths and Legends series pair a bloodthirsty Greek myth with a short graphic novel treatment - sure to appeal to reluctant readers. Each title chronicles an indiviidual myth and is prefaced with a summary of the gods and their relationships to the principle characters in the story. The maps and glossary are helpful and the bibliography and web links at the end provide additional information.
