Ada tiga cerita yang menarik dalam ini.. Blood and Sand pasal arca pasir yang dibuat menggunakan manusia/binatang yang betul.. Memang ngeri.. Man's Best Friend pula pasal burung yang dihuni oleh syaitan.. Stranger in the House pula pasal doppelganger.. Tak pasal-pasal kena replace.. Once again, Damien Graves has put together a book with three more scary stories! I can't wait to see what others think of it.

John and Sarah have come again to the town where there practically isn't anyone around. Their family comes here every summer to spend time together, but they get so bored because there isn't anything to do except go to the stupid beach, which let me tell you, isn't the best place you want to spend your summer at. On the bright side,

There were three interesting stories, geared towards middle-grade school readers. These stories would be sure to delight and terrify these readers, especially around the Halloween time.

I'm reading for 5th grade book talks again and "The Midnight Library" series is a great addition to the talks. I've read this one book in the series of scary stories. Each book contains three stories that are scary, though appropriately so for younger readers. The book avoids blood and gore entirely, but creates suspenseful stories that are plausible for the age range. Demented babysitters taken over by evil doubles, possessed parrots and mysterious summer vacation locations make up the stories ...more

It's been a long while since I've read this. I bought and read it when I was about twelve years old (I'm twenty now) and it was so good I still remember the story about the sand sculptor really well. It was terrifying! I dare say I liked it even more than Goosebumps, and I LOVED Goosebumps. I still own the book, might have to reread it sometime. :)
